  2. Yes it does need a good wash and cheers for the compliments. Sounds lovely when its running i've had a few friends say it rattles their house windows when i go past. lol
  3. Heres my Dayvan currently in matt black, i did a job for a so called friend who was a paint sprayer, i prepped the whole body then he was to spray it with materials i supplied. was not impressed with him as he moved away, after splitting with his misses. now hes back and wants me to help him out, pahhh no chance, hoping to sort it this year if im able to. Fed up with the Matt look.
  4. Yes I was dragonback have used it for years Rose. Decided in the interest of site unity and coming together of the sites, thought it would be better to go buy the name i use now. least then people Know who i am.

  7. Hi Stellaz i have a V8 5ltr GMC dayvan 1983 reg been slowly doing it up as a running project.
  8. Thanks Guys, I was beginning to feel like if i posted here i would be warned or banned just for being a mod over there. I pleased this is not the case as i all ways try to get on with everyone and help out when i can. I now feel happier about posting on here, I kept quiet and read all the posts. Nothing was aimed at me as i had nothing to say about it all. I just hope now this is over and done with. Yeah the V8 is still with me got to start sorting the bodywork on it soon. and get a new battery About 900 cca if anyone can recommend one. lol The yellow Zed i stripped in the end and have all the parts in my shed, i found the passenger side chassis leg had twisted and was out of alignment when i started to clean the front end to work on it there were creases and stress cracks in the inner wing as well. to be on the safe side, i stripped it and have now brought another zed to use as a project. using parts from both cars i will build myself a decent zed. And your more than welcome to pop in for a brew if your this way mate.
  9. Hi Gary (to mods and admin please allow this post to stay so Gary can read this) First of all thankyou for sorting my name change on here, as i cant pm it is appriciated that you did it for me. Yes im a mod over on the other site, And i apologise for everything that went on over there, even though i had not part in it. I have tried to help with ideas to unite these sites, even things like sending someone here a pm or mail before posting events/competitions etc. I would love to see all zed sites working together. And I hopefully will get to meet more members from both sites at shows and meets this year. I had NO part in the Ban, so i hope you all here will not ban me for posting this.If you wish to ban me, then by all means do so, there will be no hard feelings or posts said about it, as as far as im concerned what is done is done and lets start trying to make amends. Thankyou to the mods and admin if you leave this up for Gary to see. If you feel the need to ban me then ok. and i will be back on in 7 days i believe it is. Thankyou Nathan
  10. Did you get your diff fitted ? Gibster
  11. have you used the original electronic unit that bolts onto the gearbox, the one all the wiring connects to looks a bit like a half moon. i found mine was faulty before and couldn't do diagnostics also wouldn't change gear correctly.
  12. lol thanks vodkashots, that will teach me to refresh the page before posting when i have left the computer for 15 mins :)
  13. that looks like you might have the regulators are on the wrong sides, looking at the bolt position. either that or that bent on is definatly upside down.
  14. use a test light and fit it onto the ignition feed on the starter and to an earth turn the key and see if it lights, if it does then you had feed to the starter, check the starter is good as well, either that or jump the starter by bridging the main power and ignition feed on the starter it should kick over, will confirm then if starter is ok.
  15. Will stick in the post tomorrow and Happy to Help out a fellow Zed owner.

  23. might be a blessing the pipe went now and not on a long run. More than likely was weakened with the pressure from the blast out. i had the same happen on my chevy engine.
