  1. try creeping crack cure from a caravan or camping shop or ebay, also read about rubbing peanut oil into the seals helps soften and expand them. both have had varied results
  2. why not pull the rear off the tt ps pump, take out the fins and refit the back, then just the bolt hole for the rear steering needs blanking this way you still use the TT pump and bracket, and there should be no pressure to the rear of part of the pump for hicas HTH http://www.300zxclub.com/showthread.php?t=186494
  3. Unlucky with the block mate, but great to hear you have a new one coming, all the best for the rebuild and it coming back better and stronger.
  4. making a good start mate, nice one.
  5. I took the two metal pipes off, cut the extra bits off and welded it up, that way no extra pipes to leak and still got main pipes to heater matrix, just as Groover has done
  6. congratulations mate
  7. yeah a blow torch might get it just hot enough but not 100% on that, all the best mate
  8. check for the main rear crank seal leaking, might have leaked and contaminated the clutch, either way needs clutch replaced.
  9. might be best mate as they might have to warm the old sleeves to remove them ie oxy/acetalyne and they should have a decent vice
  10. try cutting it with a hack saw or using a chisel or old flat end screwdriver, i used my mates 50ton press so was easy, with the grease you will have quite a bit squeeze out when you fit them so should be enough for the other. HTH
  11. think that sleeve has to come out as well mate
  12. you might have a break in one of the wires, as you open and close your drivers door and is making an intermittent contact, fiddle with the rubber hose from the piller to the door while trying the window switch. HTH
  13. my wifes car did the same recently turned out themostat had siezed shut
  14. from what i have seen always a perfect fit from them
  15. try spraying some brake cleaner around the area with engine running will change the way it runs when it find a leak if sucking in air hope it helps
  16. just spend all the spare money on you zed, get a load of new parts and have the urge back to fit them and here it running
  17. so all you need is the front prop am i correct, if you have all those parts them yes it can be fitted just make sure you remember to drop the sump and clean the filter out before refilling with fresh oil happy to help and all the best
  18. sorry note to add I had to pay 200 for my replacement box, so liams offer is fair, seen them go for a lot more that that.
  19. To fit the na box to the tt you would need the flexi plate, torque converter and front part of the prop shaft, the na parts are smaller than the tt ones, if your not offered the parts with the box or prepared to wait to find parts, you would be better off buying a tt box, sorry to be bearer of bad news but been through it but other way round all the best though in getting your zed sorted. Nathan
  20. every one has there own ideas, i like the look of your rear bumper too Vod. Backend of your zed looks better than it did hope the weather gets better for you to finish sorting it mate
  21. upload to photobucket then copy the img link onto your post hope this helps mate
  22. to be honest i like the bumper did put a bid in for it but was out when it finished and missed out all the best mrogers and hope you get the zed bug again one day
  23. any type of elec heater should work a fan one would be better though
