get a magnet and go over the car it will stick well to the non filled areas and not as well to filled will at least give you an idea where filler is on the car

Petrol Fumes
check the line between the fuel rails under the throttle cables and also retighten all of the clamps first if that dont solve it then could be a O ring pinched when injectors fitted

i blew one gearbox in novemeber then another few months later so looking for another box now AGAIN lol where in St Mellons are you not seen a white zed around and back and forth from there to friends all the time

Keep blowing radio fuse why?
pull your head unit and unplug it try again with fuse is possible that the live for the light dimmer has been connected by mistake not the amp feed, so instead of powering amp is over powering the light fuse and blowing it seen it done before in a toyota lucida hope this helps

loud clicking increase with revs under car?
could not possibly be the same as yours but lift the rear end and spin the prop mine had some loose weld inside the front prop half causing an annoying clinking noise also check the centre bearing if two piece prop as can cause vibrations when knackered hope this is of a bit of help for you will be interesting to know what the outcome is, all the best in getting it sorted

More problems fixed, another rears its head
have seen ptu's relocated to the passanger side near the fuse box and headlight hope this helps

Steering shakey at around 60 (not balance)
have you had a look at the tyre tread is possible that the tyre has gone out of shape would cause uneven wear over the tyre

try the coloumn and hub from a TT that had all the extras hicas/cruise etc would have thought this would have more connections on it

fixing a smashed front end
try and pull the front out befor removing any of the structure that way should return mos to its original postition then cut out the damage will save a lot of swearing in the long run

why do you want aircon in the uk anyway just remove the tops or open the windows and listen to the exhaust rumble and comments as you pass pedestrians never hot enough in this country for it, added bonus less weight and things to go wrong lol

is it possible
take the number to a locksmith they should be able to make a new key if in their programmes on there computer might need to take documents to prove you own the car but not sure hopefully will help

you should be fine fitting a new clutch and pressure plate straight on they are balanced anyway and has been said the crank and flywheel already have, if any vibration which i doubt would be minimal and not noticed when driving

check around the fuel lines and around the fuel pipe under the throttle linkage tighten all of them up
