When things get a little easier I will more than likely re-subscribe 'cos I still want to keep in touch with the wonderful world of the 300zx. I'm currently using Chemical Guys Citrus Wash 'n Gloss. It doesn't strip wax, it smells lovely - lemony fresh, and if used through a foam lance it's very 'thixotropic' (i.e. it forms a thich foam which lifts dirt into the foam, away from the paint surface) as per pic... A good shampoo is a critical part of a car wash cycle - start as you mean to go on ;)

Meguiarsa are releasing a 240v version of the Porter Cable (which I have too) - seems expensive but no worries about transformers and a couple of guys I know that have tested it (pre-production) says its spot on. I've had 3 Z's and a R32 GTS-T with full GTR kit which looked cool as poo in white (photoshopped wheels tho :( )- but I'd have a Z over the Skyline any day! Yes, it's an outstandingly capable machine (the GTR I mean) but is a completely different experience to a Z, and due to their popularity everybody knows what they are. I like the Z as it is a more solid/planted car with ample power and, in my opinion, has bags more wow factor in the looks department.

I've had my eye on that too ;) I hope it is yours Pete, at least then it's gone to a true connosieur (sp) :)

Can't decide between these two; the first has always been my 'dream' Z, a reall 99 spec with a few mods - although I'd probably change the wheels. The second is down to my love of car detailing, what a shine! Also looks great with the 99 rears and 350z rims:-

I thought I'd seen it before, but tonight confirmed it on Sky+, one of the Mythbusters (or their staff) drives a burgundy 300ZX. It can be seen when they do their experiments outside in their car park. The uber-geeks have good taste ;)
