  1. I'll certainly try to pop along :) I won't be eating though, and won't be in a Z so I won't bother putting my name on the list. I'm just a spectator nowadays :(
  2. I did make it in the end, but missed a few of you - but it was good to see some old mates that I've not seen for a while. Damn, I really miss my Z's after seeing some more today LOL!! Oh, and 'morebhp' (sorry, didn't catch your real name), when I'm back off holiday I have a proposition for you, and it may involve a bit of that Zymol wax we spoke about for your motor ;)
  3. Nick, I won't be eating - I'll just drop in to say hello :)
  4. I might pop in to say Hi if thats ok with you bods :)
  5. Nice! Matt black too, stealthy ;)
  6. LMAO!! Chunk is nowhere near that cute!! :) Thanks for all the comments guys and gals, it really hasn't sunk in yet, but it's the best feeling ever. Let's hope I still feel this way after weeks of sleep deprivation LOL!!
  7. Meet my daughter. The reason for all my automotive woes but, by god, she is SO worth it. Her full name is Daisy-May Jacqueline Dixon, born at 11:03pm on the 11th of May 2007, weighing in at 8lb 7 oz after 18 hours of labour. Which was all worth it in the end. We are all really well and overwhelmingly happy, and she is so perfect to me:- One REALLY proud Dad, And yes, I am driving an Alfa now :D
  8. Similar to this colour, just to give you an idea mate :) -
  9.
  10. Spot on! I'd grab it quick before someone else does mate.
  11. Was it my old shortie? Slicktop? The guy that bought it lives in that region.
  12. So you're a 'glass half empty' kind of person then? Chin up, if you look hard enough there's always something good to take your mind off the crap in your life. :(
  13. I'm with you on that one buddy, couldn't have put it better myself :D
  14. Congrats mate, I hope it all goes through ok for you :)
  15. Nice one Nick :D I'm on my third now too, and I've decided to go with a UK like you. I hope we've both made the right choice LOL!!
  16. Nice. Perfect spec too IMO :)
  17. Get it removed/eliminated then, or go the whole hog and put an NA rear subframe on - you won't get HICAS problems then ;) :wack:
  18. As I understand it, we only have to face a £5 annual increase, the big rises are for cars registered after 1st March 2001.
  19. I don't use mine everyday as I have to use a van for work, but I reckon that if you're using it for everyday menial tasks, then a little runaround (like a Cavalier/Astra 'cos I've always found Vauxhalls to be reliable) would be advisable for you. Just nipping to the shops, or going round a mates house - stop start stop start - isn't gonna do the Z the world of good anyway so leave those jobs to the daily hack, and enjoy driving the Z the way it was meant to be driven at the weekend. That's what I'd do mate :)
  20. Use the Civic for a bit ;) You know you want to :D
  21. And there was me all set to buff it up for you bud. Bantambunny without a Z - nah, I can't see that happening! I've tried to give up Z's, but it's worse than trying to quit smoking - I was back in a 300 after only 4 months but I've been off the fags for years. If you've already put money into it, then consider what you will lose by quitting now. You never know, the next 'fix' you do might be the last pricey job for a while and then you've got a sorted motor. Just being positive :)
  22. Nice looking motor, tidy too :)
