  1. Wendy James, not looking quite so hot now... I kid you not.
  2. A manual Rat - could there be a better Z?! :D Chuffed for you mate, I'm glad the car is being properly appreciated :)
  3. I got there at about 10, wandered round for half an hour in the pi55ing rain (looked like I'd been swimming with my clothes on!) and went home. £15 for a thorough drenching. Bargain :(
  4. Well it's absolutely peeing it down here in Leicester, but I'm going anyway :D
  5. It's hit me REALLY hard, practically put me out of business. I do window fitting for the new-build sector (David Wislon, Wimpey, Persimmon etc.) but I have always worked as a sub-contractor to enable me to 'go where the work is' - but now there is no work and the few employed fitters out there are doing what little work there is, leaving none whatsoever for me. I haven't fitted a single window for a new build for nearly three months, turning what was a grand a week income into zero. I am just about making ends meet by going back to what I used to do which is doing replacement upvc doors and windows for private owners. TBH, I am actually quite enjoying the work and hours (used to be up at 4:30am for new build) but the loss of earning is horrendous. We've had to sell a lot too!! :)
  6. Errrr, no! :slap: Nice try ;)
  7. Nice Z, bought from a nice bloke too. Look after it ;)
  8. Me, on the Sunday :)
  9. New songs added, "Alone" is my all time favourite :)
  10. More than ten years ago I played bass guitar in a metal band with some good friends. Well, we managed to secure a record deal with a small indy label (Holier than Thou Records) and recorded our debut album at a pro studio in Reading. Unfortunately, for one reason or another, we split up after recording and never even printed a single copy of the album. Well, thanks to Facebook we have all got back in touch again and it turns out that the singer, Matt, had a CD copy of the studio edit. The lead guitarist, Karl, has had a listen and thinks that the music still sounds fresh and had decided to 'get it out there' after all this time. So, if you like your metal, give us a listen at http://www.myspace.com/fiercewallofnoise and let me know what you think. Be nice :D
  11. He still texts me jokes on a daily basis, so he's still kickin' about somewhere :)
  12. Actually, that's one product I haven't had the pleasure of using yet!! LOL! So, I'll expect a full report ;) :D
  13. Awesome car - well done you
  14. Tony, count to 10 and breeeeeeeeeeeathe mate! But I totally agree with you. I don't watch F1 now as it's just a 'wallet' race - whoever can afford the best kit and bribe the most officials wins. Much prefer to watch the bikes now - proper racing.
  15. Don't get your hopes up for anything interesting, it's one of these..... Sensible family car :( and it's a diesel  'Tis a decent motor though, and just what we need - got all the toys on it too (sat nav, climate, reversing camera, leather etc. etc.). Family, it comes to us all!!! But, the upshot of it is, the wife's Smart car is for sale now too, so when my business picks up and we get a bit of money behind us again, I will be able to buy a Jap sports car again :D
  16. Might try to come along to this one, if the weather is good. And I am in a Nissan again now (the Alfas have gone) ;) :D
  17. ^^ have you got their number? Always useful to keep a good sprayers number on file ;)
  18. I still use Auto Glym Super Resin Polish all the time. Does a great job of masking light imperfections and restores a bit of colour depth too. I tend to use is as a preparatory product before using a decent paste wax - works well :)
  19. For that sort of money I'd expect a show perfect finish.
  20. Ok, but only 'cos you said so
  21. That's it, I'm hooked. Curse you 300zx_girl!! LOL! :D
  22. What colour is it Clint? Meguiars trade range machine polishes can work minor miracles if used correctly, but in some cases the actual pigment of the colour can be bleached by the sun (most common in red paints) and cannot be restored. If you're ever near Leicester I'll give it a go for you :)
