Oooo its a hideous zed bodykit!
I agree, but with a little 'rounding' it could have been really nice. Shame :(

billy piper
After TG, I voted no - she looks like she's either on drugs or mentally unstable IMO! Unless she's getting into character as a monobrowed scatty haired tramp whore. :D

paintwork / detailing advice
Oh, no doubt mate. But for those that don't wanna tackle swirl removal themselves, using SRP is a good start :)

paintwork / detailing advice
It seems that a very popular polish for removing swirl marks is Menzerna PO106FF. I am currently using a Spear & Jackson rotary buffer to good effect, but they can be a bit vicious and burn lacquer if you don't know what you're doing. I will be investing in a Porter Cable random orbital buffer as soon as I can (these are raved about in detailing circles as they can't damage paint) and I may be able to offer assistance/services to members when I have it :) For a good deep shine on black paint, I would recommend preparing the surface using Auto Glym Super Resin Polish (which is packed with silicone fillers to mask swirls) and then topping with at least one coat of Poorboy's Natty's Blue wax, preferably 2 coats 24 hours apart. I did that on the wifes car today and this is a reflection shot of my Z in her door panel:- HTH

If you could ask a top car valet / detailer anything, what would you ask them?
I would ask for a job :) Then again, I'd probably do a better job than a lot of the cowbows out there anyway!

Just thought i'd share with everyone!
My first won't be here till the end of April, so I can't post any pics just yet

Your Thoughts On These
Now, I've always thought 'cheap and nasty', but I'm thinking if you were to paint the centres they'd look ok. The offset is a little high though (42), they might need some spacers to fit nicely, about 7mm. :)

I chatted to a DeLorean owner at the Supercar Sunday at Gaydon Motor Museum last year, and if you thought Z's were unreliable - you ain't seen nothing till you've owned a DeLorean!! :(:D

Been doing a bit of paint correction
Well I wish I'd taken more photo's but these'll give you an idea. I helped to restore Rat before I owned it, and when it came to me it looked like this, pretty bad I think you'll agree. This wasn't just dirt, it was stained and the first wash didn't even touch it.:- Since then it was really only cleaned with quite an aggressive chemical cleaner, and given a quick polish with Auto Glym Super Resin Polish, which did a good enough job at the time. However, the bonnet has always been pretty rough, to the point where it could almost have been mistaken for a satin finish! Anyhoo, I attacked it today with some G3 and some more SRP - it took a few passes but I got it to this finish:- Due to other commitments today I didn't have time to do the rest of the car, but I'll be doing it bit by bit, and you should see the results at the shows this year. Also, thanks to FunkySi's guide, I'm gonna have a crack at refurbing my alloys - watch this space! :)
