  1. I posted it over on the Z Club forum this morning...forgot to post it here at the same time!....Originally saw them on the GTO site! http://www.zclub.net/forum/showthread.php?t=11478
  2. Hi, Anyone fancy these disappearing doors on their ZX?....Make a change to the usual Lambo style doors!... http://www.disappearing-car-door.com
  3. Hi, As you say...They're just old Nissans to the general public and are therefore valued in the same way as any old Nissan model! I only sold my Z32 recently, as I was fairly confident that I would be able to find another next year without too much trouble, and hopefully a later series 2/3 model for the same money or less too! Cheerz, Jez.
  4. Hi, Most of the big engined Japanese performance stuff like 300ZX's and GTO's etc seem to be dropping value very quickly now! Not great if you want to sell, but good if you're looking to buy! Jez.
  5. Hi, Did a search and found this on the Pistonheads site about Duratec V6's!...... "The Duratec V6 engines are not the best it has to be said. The most common problems are head gaskets, piston slap and bore wear, and big end/ main bearing failure. In the last year we (I work for a Ford dealer) have replaced nine or ten engines, and they aren't that common an engine."
  6. Hi, Don't they just have Ford Mondeo engines?

Hi, Most of the 99 spec additions could be added to an earlier car, although the 99 cars did have a thicker floorpan and side impact bars in the doors to improve crash safety. The windows were also given rain repellent glass ?! Personally I would rather have an earlier car and add the cosmetic additions myself...if that's the look I wanted! Cheerz, Jez
  8. Hi, Not really fair to slag off someone elses car, when there's nothing wrong with it apart from the vivid colour perhaps!...But then that's all down to personal taste. Someone might buy that car from the advert and then join this site....Not much of a welcome for them is it? I see he's also selling a VW Polo in the same colour green! Cheerz, Jez.
  9. Hi, The thread was still available to read this morning, as I had a quick look at this site and the Z Club site after breakfast! Must say I was suprised the thread wasn't pulled earlier, as it had gotten out of hand and some of the comments were quite outrageous! I know that we would have moved it into the admin section over on the Z Club site quite early on. Cheerz, Jez.
  10. My first JDM 300ZX Z32 came with a leather bound folder with a handbook and original sale documents....All mentioned the Fairlady Z but 300ZX was hardly mentioned at all! The front cover of the folder had an embossed script which read Fairlady Z too! Jez.
  11. A Sports car like the 350Z is slower than a Grand Touring car like the 300ZXTT :D
  12. Here's another design of Z shirt..... http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=HWN-Z
  13. Hi, They're all known as Fairlady Z's in Japan....So they're all Z's! Jez.
  14. You can get them with ZX's on!.....
  15. Hi, The UK spec TT manual had gearing of 25.7mph/1000revs in fifth gear. 1990 Road Test
  16. Which model....TT/NA ..Manual/Auto???
  17. This story was doing the rounds about 4 years ago!...Originates from the US! Just another spam email! Cheerz, Jez.
  18. Hi, It was NISSAN that developed the self healing scratch resistant paint a couple of years ago.Light scratches will supposedly heal themselves in anything from a day to a week! Hope it works better than their rustproofing used to do!
  19. TUT TUT!...The wheel police will come knocking on your door! :p
  20. Hi, I used to use my old Z32 NA as a daily car, with a 45 mile daily commute. It did cost a fortune in petrol though! My current Z32 NA is just a weekend car and costs hardly anything to run, apart from road tax and cheap Classic insurance. Trouble is, I hardly use it ! Cheerz, Jez.
  21. Hi, Get a new oem knob as all the aftermarket ones never fit right and end up spinning off in your hand or leaving an exposed gear stick! 300ZX OEM gearshifter
  22. Hi, Looks good!...I like the horseshoe style rear spoiler more than the later '99 spec design. And don't the later tweed style cloth seats look much nicer than the earlier tweed ones! Cheerz, Jez.
  23. Hi, Not quite 70s but more 80s, you have the XJS Cabriolet 2+2 and the Reliant Scimitar GTC? Both are available in the price range and the GTC is available as a manual! XJS Cabriolet Scimitar GTC
  24. Hi, Having the recirc button pressed can also make the interior fog up after a while. I tend to use the demist button more when the engine is cold, as on the Auto setting, you get cold air blown down at your feet as well! Jez.
  25. Hi, Did you press the windscreen demist button, or just have it on Auto? On demist, air is directed at the windscreen and also blows over my head, to demist the rear window without using the rear window heater!. As stated earlier, best to set it to a lower temperature to start, so you then get dry refridgerated air as well! Jez.
