Hi, About 105mph in a manual NA...with stock wheels/tyres.

You can't beat a good 70 profile tyre...Makes driving over speed humps a pleasure rather than a pain! :D I can now drive down local speed humped roads which I used to avoid in my lowered Z32!....Handling and roadholding are not quite so good though!;)

Hi, You might have got a decent enough NA for that money, but a TT was always going to be a bit ropey! My import NA had a rust free floorpan that you could eat your dinner off!...So it looks like your car has been driven around in this Country for a few winters to get in that state! Jez.

Hi, I think white suits the 300ZX, especially if kept in good condition....At least it doesn't fade to pink!:D Saw that car on ebay and assumed it had a higher reserve price. Jez.

The steering wheels on these cars don't seem to last too well, as my first Z32 had a nice condition leather interior, but a manky stock wheel that looked like a dog had chewed it?! Hi, The thing is, you don't have to be driving the car hard for it to bite you! You could be driving fairly slowly round a damp roundabout and the turbos can suddenly kick in and throw you through the nearest hedge or worse into a lamp post/on coming traffic! If you just like the looks of the 300ZX, it might be worth considering a non-turbo model.I've owned a couple of NA manuals and they are still quite sprightly with 230bhp! However, I've been driving for 28 years and I've had one or two "moments" even in my non-turbo car, where the back end has swung out when I wasn't expecting it, on a wet road! Cheerz, Jez.

Hi, At the end of the day it's a non-runner, without an mot, which makes it a spares or repair car! If your cousin is reluctant to put it through an mot, then there may well be other issues with the car, which he is aware of. As mentioned earlier, it doesn't exactly sound like a cared for example by it's recent history and could prove to be a money pit! Cheerz, Jez.

Congratulations!...Should have kept your Z though as it will have been lower maintenance in the long run!:D

About £1500 I would say...But no doubt he wants more!
