  1. OK it's all off/done - phew! Was very careful not to move anything and I marked the belt/sprockets up as well with tippex and a physical mark (as everything is getting chromed next week). I am still convinvced that she will never start again - but heyho - we live and learn ;-)) or die trying! Thanks for the PM's and to 300 zed above for reminding me about the tensioner bolt trick - just gotta get it back on net week now ha ha lol ;-)
  2. BTW - forgot to mention 60K was done last year so I dont want to damage/cut any belts ;-)
  3. ...And I assume the two top cam sprockets are key-wayed - so they can only go back on the way they came off right? Cheers.
  4. OK - I am back on this now - Funny how you keep putting off jobs that you don't really want top do!!!!! Anyway - thanks for the comments above - surely I need to loosen the cam belt tensioner first right? And that must mean removing the Cam Pulley at the bottom to get access under the stupid metal cover with the timing mark right? Or can I slip the CAM sprokets off by stealth and effort - and if so how do they go back on? Any help appreciated. Andy
  5. Personally - a large glass of Scrumpy Jack or two he he

  15. (I also removed all of the aircon piping in the engine bay) ... Do I need to block/blank the two bulkhead connection points to the cabin??? Cheers ;)
  16. I junked mine - but I added a 3000CFM 16" electric fan and also junked the viscous fan on the water pump. I also removed all of the aircon piping in the engine bay - do I need to block/blank the two bulkhead connection points to the cabin???
  17. They worked for me on my 1990 car - but I think when I checked at the time I determined that they were ONLY for the 1990 model - and the later Zeds needed something else! But I could be wrong! Maybe SEARCH will be your friend ;-)) Also - I have NOT done very many miles on them yet so..... I reserve judgement. Will update as and when. Half price is a big temptation I know.
  18. Now on ebay - so you decided to sell it on right?
