What sort of condition are your shocks and springs in? Just after i bought my zed i found it had a very similar problem which i tracked down to a knackered rear shock. After seeing all these suspesion related threads your putting on fella, it sounds like you need a complete suspension overhaul. Just fixing the odd bits on the setup is quite likely to show up other weak spots in the suspension system. Personally i would just bite the bullet and do everything and have the piece of mind that your not going to have any further problems in the future. HTH Nick

Lube??? why would you lube electrical connections? Get yourself down to any decent motorfactors and buy some contact cleaner, its only a couple of quid. Before you buy any parts, properly clean the connections with a brillo or scouring pad to get any corrosion of the contacts. Try cleaning the AFM, TPS (throttle position sensor), Water temp sensor and the CAS. Reposition the TPS into its default position and work from there. Have you checked for any error codes?

I completely agree with you, and a pay increase to cover inflation should be incorperated into every company. BUT its not, as much as it sucks. The major gripe i have is that one of the things the Police has always had is a statutory pay rise every year. Police officers have given up lots of other things to keep this, Travel allowances (which every MP gets), Housing allowance (which every MP gets) and the biggest one being the right to strike, so its not like we havent made sacrafices to maintain this agreement. And yet some pen pusher in downing street sees fit to piss all over my pay slip!

It seems to be a pretty much a top subject in the news at the moment. As some of you may seen, the current government has decided not only to go against the long term agreement of a yearly pay increase that matches the rate of inflation (3%) every september, but also not back date the pay increase. Most will probably guess what my reaction to this is, given my current choice of employment, but im curious to what you guys think about it all. Please dont comment about the whole subject of whether police officers should be able to strike or not, which to be honest, will never happen. Nick

I think theyre needs to be more incentive to subscribe, theyres not enough of a difference being subscribed and registered apart from ability to PM, Edit your posts, Sell items and Buy items. Im not trying to lower club moral or anything like that, and for you people who dont have zeds and subscribe, then good on you. But for me thats not enough of a reason to dish out cash. I know i sound like a complete tight arse, but with my financial postion at the moment, I have not choice but to BE a tight arse. £15 is 2 days travelling to work and back. Thats £15 that i could be spending on something i need as opposed to a "luxury" like this one. I know its already has been said but theyre has got to be something that would attract more subs. How exactly am i being delusional? If ive just listed only 2% of government spending, then thats 2% that being contiually badly spent. The examples i have given are that of cases I have personal experience of (ok maybe the newpaper example is a well publicised one, but i have come across other examples) I have met people who are sending theyre benefits abroad, I work within an organisation that is forced to use suppliers even though theyre not the cheapest, I have to watch ILLEGAL immigrants walk free after being arrested for being overstayers for them to be told to go to some office in birmingham to register as immigrants and miraculously dissappear I drive on the continent all the time, and the country roads are no worse than they are here. The motorways and city centre roads are much better And as ive said, its a well documented fact that the government spends BADLY! Im not saying that the money doesnt need to be spent, that would just be DELOUSIONAL, but if the time was spent on looking for better suppliers, it would save millions of pounds a year. I know large numbers of people who work within the goverment/MOD/external subcontractors, and they all say the same thing, that they know that they could get various supplies cheaper and of better quality if they were allowed to do what anyother major company does and search the market, but there hands are tied. And i no point did i say anything about living in a tax free nation. If the money we spent on tax's was spent on what its apparently ment to be spent on, then there would be alot less reasons to protest and complain!

Im sure i just said "I would have no problem in having high fuel prices and road tax if we had acceptionally good roads like on the continent" So its not going on say people like that lady in the paper not too long ago, who has 7 kids, all different dads, no income who lives in a 5 Bed detached house in a nice area and makes £2.5k a month in benefits???? or the ILLEGAL immigrants who are sending theyre benefits back to theyre home contry??? Or spanking ridiculous amounts of money of a national staduim that the people around the world can build 3 stadiums for. Or another example that the Met police pay 8x retail price for printer paper because they have to use a Government approved supplier?? So where is it going, please enlighten me??? The FACT is if OUR government was run like any Multi National company in the way it spends money, IT WOULD HAVE GONE BUST YEARS AGO!!! And who funds these stupid spending spree's?

At the very least were making our feelings known! I cant belive that so many people are willing to just roll over and accept that the goverment are raping us right up the chuffer! It enrages me that people are so willing to roll over and except it, or let someone else do something about it!
