Hi everyone
For deletes check this site out http://s95014253.onlinehome.us/63104/197828.html As for somebody to do the work there are only a couple of people in the country whose names come up. I won’t get into them in open forum as it’s a volatile topic and others personal views will come out happy to talk in private on the subject. I’m lucky that I’ve been a engineer for 2 decades and do 99% of my Zed work myself which negates issues arising from relying on someone else [emoji1] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi everyone
Sure go for a SWB auto TT over any LWB. Going rate for a manual conversion at the moment is probably around £800 then just a case of fitting it. Worth doing a few upgrades though before it gets fitted and equally a few jobs done while the box is off and accessible to other parts like EGR delete etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi everyone
I couldn’t live with a LWB [emoji23] I like the rarity of having a manual SWB TT They are coming up now and then birdie to the rarity it will be maybe more of a case of grab the best one going and work on it not to say that it will need a lot of work people tend to hold onto them more in comparison with the LWB although the numbers available is a big difference. I know it’s been argued before in terms of cost and I would still say that like for like a SWB should command a higher value but again this is down to the rarity and my bias of course. Hi everyone
Happy hunting I would start viewing now though to get a feel for what is out there. That green one is now on auction so see how it does. Any Zed is worth getting a full inspection on these days as owners may genuinely be unaware of what problems lurk and equally long lists of faults on MOT sheets can be common with the age it’s just about getting right into the detail and pricing accordingly. Hi everyone
A potential to look at. Not a bad price for a manual TT shorty https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F283714021509 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Duty & Tax
That does sound normal. It can be cheaper anyway to get parts from the US with all the fees vs buying from a UK supplier anyway. Plus if you are looking for standard parts in future then try Amayama.com and put the part number in as I’ve had a few parts from UAE that are cheaper than the US, Japan and UK with all the fees and shipping. I always just add 30% on a cost and you’re not far off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A few insignificant parts fitted 😄
Ah good job. If you lower the window though the screw lines up with one of the holes in the door already so you can tighten it up and that’s before it goes into the track however you have done it so all good. It’s such a simple piece but with wear on them could result in leaking windows at the top as it does pull the window in enough at the top of travel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A few insignificant parts fitted 😄
Hi I did try to open up this post on the website on my phone however looks like it has all changed and unworkable for me so back on Tapatalk. I’m guessing the garage feature has problem been messed up as well hence why it is not working. With your problem it will be much easier with pictures. I know the slider bolts can come in a full kit or part kit so good to see what you have. I assembled it all with the window still in which is a bit fiddly but simple enough. I had to drill one of the bolts out as they should unscrew but this was just tight however on the other side it was ok to do with pliers. For assembly it’s a case of pit it through the window with the plastic washer then place the round disconnect the back with larger plastic washer and then the bit that goes into the slider mech with an end cap on. Light Pod Bracket
Ah however when you search 25357-40P00 it highlights the correct part however is over £25 for a bit of metal. Go to a breaker much easier. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Light Pod Bracket
I’m seeing it as a different number. Probably a part to get much easier off a breaker. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Light Pod Bracket
So a few choices. I use Amayama all the time for parts and get the part number from the CZP website. https://conceptzperformance.com/nissan-infiniti-nissan-oem-pod-bracket-lighting-switch-rhd-nissan-300zx-z32-25167-40p00_p_8450.php https://www.amayama.com/en/part/nissan/2516740p00 You can try your local Nissan with the part number 25167-40P00 and see what their cost is. Others would say zcentre but without delivery it is £56.40 as the prices on the site don’t include VAT. So I work out the Amayama delivered price after taxes to be about £34. No brainier really. I’d advise that you search for parts using this method all the time to find the best price. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Light Pod Bracket
Thank you. The rear pod housing is best sourced new as any secondhand one is likely damaged already. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Light Pod Bracket
Looks like your mounts are shot on the light pod therefore you would struggle to get a good fit anyway with the bracket on. Common problem with them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Door trim parts
Two bits I’m after off the passenger door. Cross head screw that secures the door seal at the top of the door Top of door trim piece. May be SWB specific. The thread on the bolt behind no longer holds on mine.

A few insignificant parts fitted 😄
Straight fit simple enough. I renewer other trim clips as well since I had them spare. I started sing mirror side as well as it seemed logical and all clipped into place with no issues. Was renewing a few trims clips too since I had the door lock out as well to renew and the window slider. I got a good deal on one of the door seals from UAE on the Amayama site it was about £20 cheaper when it landed.

Black 1991 Build "NERD"
Sorry I'm talking about the recircs when you fit BOVs you need to block off the other ports that are under the nose panel and air filter

Manual gearbox issue
Well the ask was what other options are there Jimmer haha so there is another option. Alternatively get an engineering qualification and come up with another solution. I certainly wasn't going to offer up an idea of a cheap bodge corner cutting alternative it's not my style. Could however circumvent gearbox issues with an engine transplant.

Manual gearbox issue
I know I wasn't recommending it it just expands people's thinking. Many engineering possibilities we may be geared to off the shelf solutions in the UK though.
