  2. I have a few from last year when I took the front off, hopefully they are what ur looking for.
  3. http://www.motuk.co.uk/manual_140.htm
  4. I've been looking into putting two 8" subs in the corners myself. The only 8" subs I know of or at least the only ones I can find here in the UK are the Rockford Fosgate. I know Kenwood did an 8" before but they dont do them now!!!
  5. Try this:- http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=47399
  6. I'm pretty sure they aint going to give a crap if it works or not. As long as they are kept at the right distance and at the right height above the ground they wont care. I had remote control Raybrigs and all I did was take the remote to turn them on/off out of the car! =D The car still passed the MoT.
  7. JASMA is not an exahust maker. It's a organisation that certifies exhausts to meet noise standards. JASMA = Japanese Automobile Sports Muffler Association In any case I can't shed any light on what the make of exhaust it is.
  8. If you can get behind it you could just push the two push clips that hold it on. In my case I gave up trying that and just gave it a good yank, not recommended if you intend to keep the spolier in the same condition!
  9. It's a funny little clip, that's why you wont find a bolt.
  10. Doesnt it say they dont cover imports/modified cars on their website?
  11. And there I was trying to yank the driver side out first with my bare hands! :nelson:
  12. Fitting tips would be nice, I haven't really tried even getting the old ones out. Anyone know how to pull them out without pretty much destroying the dash?
  13. Do what I'm going to do, wait until next year and get another key ring, then use them as bonnet pins!
  14. get a key ring like all the other renewal people last year! :nana2: Please?
  15. Their magazine isnt really all that anyway. I've had quick browse through this months mag and noticed that in the dynos they had the couldnt even get the chassis code right for a certain little 3 door Honda car...! I'm sure I can find a few more STUPID mistakes like that for a magazine that claims to be about Jap cars but yet cant get the chassis codes right. The guy who said all that crap about the Z is just trying to stir up some crap and make a name for his little stupid company. Dont really give a crap what he says, at the end of the day, we love the Z, so he can go screw himself...!
  16. Yup, they just go over the old one. Only the little hole in the middle needs to be a little bigger as it wont go on unless you take the whole thing apart along with the needle which isnt recommended. If you want one I have one laying around in my house somewhere that I dont need. £10 inc P&P and it's yours! :smash:

You wont get classic insurance from Heritage at your age. They told me you had to be 28 before they are able to give a quote for classic insurance on a Z.

It use to be 25 but from the look of things this year it's around the 28/30 mark. Prob go up again next year as it seems to be doing every stinkin' year.
  19. Classic insurance is prob going to be out of your reach at that age. I cant even get classic cause they've raised the damn age you have to be yet AGAIN.
  20. Take the whole dash apart! It might be that the headunit is bolted in from the back and you'll need to unbolt it by getting to the back of it. That's what I had to do when taking a friends headunit out.
  21. You also need to be 28 years old before you can do that. Or at least that's what they told me when I wanted a classic car quote. Times that by about 2 if you got a Jap Import!
  22. That's quite a bit more then how much I paid for it and mine was a mobile fitting too. Though you are a bit futher away from where I am! >
  23. Classic insurance is usually for second car only and a set limited miles. So you'll need a daily car under your own name. Most companies that do classic insurances requires you to have the car in a garage. Though your unlikey to get any sort of quote for classic insurance due to your age. You have to be at least 28 years old from the companies that I've called up to even get quoted on classic insurance. That or they just dont like me...!
  24. No wonder why the new starter wouldnt work! Wonder why I didnt figure that out in the first place when I noticed there was only one stupid cable on the thing. :wack: Back under the car again I go...!
  25. I noticed that the motor has one wire connected to it. I take it this is the power. So would this mean that when you fix the thing to the side of the gearbox? that, that is where it gets it's grounding from? Just asking this because I was trying to yank the ******* of the one that is connected on there but couldnt take it off so I thought I'll connect the new one without bolting it up. Of course the car didnt turn over though. So is it because of this?
