I believe that's a 99 spec original Nissan spolier! Something I wanna get my hands on soon as I dont quite like the hi rear spoliers..!

Mine is more a slow leak. It takes quite a while before it ends up ridding itself of the extra brake fluid I shoved in, but I still have resistance on the brake pedal and no warning light that stays on when brake fluid is low. I can actually see some sort of hole where the brake lines are suppose to be and from what i can tell it's covered up to protect it I'm guessing, but that protective cover is broken and it's covered in oil. From what I've been able to gather I'm guessing I might as well get the whole line all replaced, right now the car is still off the road as I'm doing a few upgrades to it before I put it on the road so just trying to get rid of each problem as I find them! I haven't even started going anywhere near the coolant yet! Will do that after I get a few other things sorted first as the car isnt on the road just yet anyhow. I had the workshop manual somewhere on my machine. For some strange reason I can't find it but I've taken a look at the manual and it does seem like the brake lines are the one that is broken, unless there's another line that goes from front to back! Brake line diagram Got my friend at JAE to go over to the 300zx stand (that's gonna take him a while to walk there! 200sx owner) and ask one of them lot to make sure.

Was 84.9p last week... now 87.9p! That's quite a bit jump! >

I haven't a clue what it is but there seems to be a nice pool of something under the car where the driver side is. One thing I do know is that I have to keep topping up my brake fluid as it keeps disappearing somewhere! Could it be that? Looks like something is broken under there and that something is leading to the back of the car. Any help would be nice, I'll try get some pictures of it sometime, just my friends nicked my camera for the weekend as I can't make it to JAE! :cry:

True. But it does piss me off, I've had my fair share of racist remarks and being picked on. This bombing how ever was targeted at all races so I dont see how getting rid of all of 'them' is gonna help because there's bound to be a terriorist who is white and dont mind doing the same bloody thing anyway! In any case if you do go for 3, you should be prepared for a completely shit service, getting cut off a random times, not connecting and all the other problems which the other major players have managed to fix. Anyone remember the original One2One serivce? If you thought that was crap, 3 is worse.

Wouldnt the handling of the S14 go to hell considering how much more heavier the VG30 is! It's like what some people ove in the US are doing to their Civics and replacing them with a H22 Engine. Pretty good for straight line, but turning conners? Hell no. Personally the RB25 or even a RB26 is a better idea.

That's if you can get a quote with Houghtons, they wouldnt even bother giving me a quote. Though I'm 26, no bonuses, car is alarmed and garaged, limited to 3k a year and the cheapest quite is £1500. >_

I managed to find a nice guide on how to remove the whole dash board with the speedos and stuff but haven't managed to figure out to get the speedo face dial off so I can shove a MPH one on instead of having the KPH. Can anyone help!? :nana2:

Houghtons couldnt give me a quote, firebond wanted £4.5k and lifesure states on their website that "The car has not been modified".

They say you need at least a years NCB which I dont have! Also my friend who is with them isnt having too much luck as people's been hitting into him and their repair services seems quite crap, as the approved mechinics they use are so lazy they can't be asked to go take a look at his car and made him go to them for a 5 min check up on what is wrong with it and then buggered off because he wanted to go home!!! I've been meaning to try Houghton, just that I'm at work during these insurence opening times and dont have my 300zx log in so I can't do any search! Better jot down the number and try them...!!! Thing is I do remember people here saying they dont do under 30s as well? Give them a call anyway and see what happens I guess.

They dont do Nissans due to a high number of '200SX' owners crashing their cars and claiming. Not too sure why that would affect us '300ZX' owners but there you go. Called them up and as soon as I said import they told me they dont do it. Weird huh. :cry:

I can understand that I'm trying to get myself insured on a IG20 car. Thing was I was hoping to get it under classic insurence as I already had a quote for it at £650, cause I do have access to another car. Only they wont do it now, so I've gotta insurence it as a main car now even though I'll probably not drive any more then 3/4k miles a year! I believe it's where I live which was the deciding factor. Living next door to Brixton doesnt exactually help.
