Just wondering what else I can do to keep the temp on our heat prone 300ZX down. So what I'm looking for is a nice list of things to do to help keep engine bay temp at a reasonable level. I've already got a koyo rad installed but is there any special coolant products that any one can recommend? Or just the normal stuff is ok? Would I gain anything from getting a 1.3 rad cap rather then keeping the 1.2 rad cap? On the subject of cooling my autobox already has an extra cooling rad for it which looks simlair to what Chris sells. Though it's doing it's job and my autobox oil is a nice red colour and not black and burnt I can't help but feel that it could do with an even bigger rad as around the gear knob it gets quite hot to the point where it burns my finger if I leave it there (this only happens after a long drive). Is this even normal?!?!?! I've noticed that when the car is warmed up there is quite a bit of heat from the wings. I take it this is because the heat is getting pushed to the side? I'm guessing vented wings would be some help to removing the heat from the engine? Or would it just help with cooling the braking system only? Also with vented bonnets, errrmmm how the hell do you keep the rain out!? Sorry for the number of questions, I just wanna make sure my baby gets the cooling it needs before I go for any major power hike.

I need some of those T-Pipes myself. Why is it sooo hard to find stuff like this...!!!

I can't say for sure if it works but seeing as it's running on CE I'm guessing the Mio 269 isnt a PPC device, so there for prob wont work, but if you wanna try give me a buzz.

Dont forget to ground the HIDs to your battery rather then using the grounding on the plug. It stops the HIDs from going off when your using your high beam to flash people.

That's the parking aid switch to activate a nice little aerial on the front bumper so you know where the front is. Prob doesnt work or the aerial isnt there... strip it all out and get rid of the thing! Ooh, nice dash.

Yup, Chinese Mandarin. As for the two not liking each other, that's just because of what they did during WWII. The Chinese probably dont hate them as much as the Koreans do! Those clips have been doing the web run well before youtube and the likes turnt up. Very funny though!

It is true, Renualt owns enough of Nissan to take control of how it does business. They always had a stake in it, it just wasnt until sometime in the late 90s I think it was which was when they took control. As for the 350Z, that does have a Renualt engine in it and they are going to share parts from what I've heard. And the new GTR from what I know of isnt based on any of the Skyline of past or present.

No big spoiler or anything, just a thread about people commenting on the state it looked while I was trying to rid myself of it as I really didnt have any where to put bits if I broke it. Prob looks worse now then it did back then! In anycase I've started modding the new one already. Mostly cosmetics at the moment which I brought from smithy, the rest of the more engine mod stuff should be in the car by sometime next week hopefully! :hyper: Grab some more pictures of the car by then and have them up!

To make things a little easlier look for the oil filter first, as it's very close to it. Shoved right next to the gear box just as the two exhaust pipes split futher apart from each other. No point in push starting it if it's an auto.

If it sounds like a spinning clicking noise and all your electrics on your dash disappears (lights goes out) then it's prob the starter motor. Either it's on it's way out or your battery isnt up to the job of cranking it. Try getting a jump start from another car and see if it starts. If it's not one of those two problems then it might be something else.

I'm still trying at least! Considering the amount of bits and bobs I've got for the Zed laying around in the house and garage it shouldnt take too long to get the thing looking the way I want it to look! Just need to sort out that stupid sponge spolier first!

Yes, I got myself another Z after deciding not to bother fixing my old one. My old silver Zed has been commented on the forum with two of it's own thread, which also led to me being called a Chav. Not too happy about that but everyone to their own opinion. Well, you people are stuck with me for the mean time, as this little Chav got himself a grey Z to take apart and destory like the last one! Not really...! :D PS. To the person who commented about the Nova... No I didnt take that apart when I was driving it around! :D

I think you should! A nice light tint in my opinion. None of this limo dark stuff. I had it on my car when I got it. Can't see for shite, then again can't see for shite anyway, with or without the tints! Not all of the gatso are yellow. There are a few parts of the UK where they dont have to have it yellow. Though one thing I can say about this spray thing is what happens if you have a foward facing camera? Sure as hell not going to help you get away with anything!

I can confirm that the seller says one thing and does another. I asked for a refund and the seller said they'll foward it to me. Never happened though. Got my money back via paypal. I would have been pretty pissed off if I didnt get my refund, as what I was buying was alot more expensive!

Easiest way of doing that is not to drive so fast on the public road. ;)

The loop back system is for NAs only. The TT system has the same tube without the loop back tubing. Personally I would ditch the lot as it'll give you more room to put any other bits you want instead! eg. Mounting HID Ballasts.
