  1. They don't have to be, but to my mind it makes sense to get them as close as possible to the same length.
  2. Could have flattened the battery. Could also have reconfigured the alarm. Mine is a Serpi Star, which uses a keyfob that says HiSec on it and it is possible to mess up the alarm by pressing the right combination of buttons with the door open, standing on one leg on the 2nd Thursday of the month etc.
  3. Thanks. All sorted.
  4. No, just a database error, will fix it for you.
  5. We already have a Lee, you'll need to think of something unique.

  8. Not going back to work until the 10th-ish. I'm fed up with work - it's over-rated !

  10. Had mine fitted in 1998 - it's still there.
  11. Probably the funniest one this year.
  12. I thought 2001 was the cut-off. My Beamer is a 2002 and the tax was £205, the Z is still £175 or something.
  13. Joel, come over the pub this afternoon and I'll buy you a beer - that'll make you better. Plus bring the girl in the photo, you'll have no need for her if the Mrs is around ....
  14. Well I've used them 3 times and never had a problem, but it's good to get a balanced view.

  16. Well done on the contract. I used to work in Reigate on occasion too.
  17. Doing it manually means that your subscription doesn't automatically get done. I have to guess what's happened and update it myself. So ....... for anyone that has to do it manually, this is a reminder for them to remind me to update their status !
  18. 1mm is a bit small, not sure how much boost you will get with that. You should start with 1.4mm and work downwards to 1.2, 1.1 or perhaps 1.0 checking the boost on an accurate boost gauge - the standard one is not. If you have set this up close to the limit in the Winter, then it WILL detonate in the Summer. Therefore, I suspect it's detonating and reverting to standard (safety) boost. Do an ECU check to see if there are any error codes. Also, remember that if you have raised extended boost by 30%, then you will have also raised standard boost by 30%, so it will no longer be so obvious that it is in standard boost.
  19. ... and indeed it has. Ithankyou.
  20. Mine are the same, but I have a male-male adaptor which goes into the caliper.
