For anyone who is in the market
That's almost enough to make me want a Skyline !

which ECU??
Yes you can, as long as it no longer has the auto box ! Either a manual or an auto ECU will work in this instance. I would normally say stick with an auto as it will match the turbos better, but as you're changing injectors etc then you will need it remapped anyway.

tyre wear ?
Tracking, ie too much 'toe out' will also cause that symptom.

As a stop gap you can put a plastic bag inside it.

do i have series one or two?
Some parts were optional extras, but may have been included on UK models. That original source for that page was a Jap site for Jap models only. Series II cars also have the original PTU, that would have changed around 1994-ish (I think).

Nearly there, just a last issue
ECU should give an error for that and the rev limit should be 2400rpm.

anyone know about dishwashers
Many years ago I was told that you should either buy a dishwasher or marry one, I guess you need to sort out your life plan ....

Where did my New Posts Go ?
There is a timeout after which the posts become 'read'. So if you login then go away for an hour (I think it's an hour) then they will go. It used to be a shorter time, but I extended it. The downside of extending this time is that people who are 'inactive', ie have gone away but not logged off, appear to be logged on when they're not.

renewed
Think this happens if you renew just before it expires.
-
ohhhhhhhh it might happen!
You need to head about 100 miles north, it may snow here tomorrow or Thursday.

O2 sensor
No reading or no changes ? I seem to recollect that if the sensor is disconnected then a default voltage is still displayed. This is quite likely to cause an MOT failure because I think a faulty sensor will usually result in the engine running rich and therefore high emissions.

alarm
An alarm would often be wired direct from the battery with it's own inline fuse.

Manual boost control valve
Not only that, you're talking a change of pressure, not building from zero and as the volume is small the change will happen quickly.
-
Manual boost control valve
Yes, but the volume of air in each pipe is very small.

ECU Remapping
Actually, cold weather is safer (in engine terms) - cold air = denser air = more oxygen.
