  1. In my opinion Daz, the rest of the car seems to be a subtke style of mods, not to differeent than how Mr Nissan designed it. Keep to that theme and you wont go far wrong, even if that means losing some detail because of the colour. I dont think you should do the 2-tone look and be carefull what you do do. Too much on the rear and you will have to do the front and sides so it blends in and dont look stoopid.
  2. Ah yes there you are, I had heard you were back. Saw your better half the other day. Drive back to the UK tomorrow on leave for a week. Phone/txt when I get back buddy.
  3. Hi there mate, As Stellaz said, i'm based in Gutersloh, same place as Jonce. We can import UK cars into Germany and they get registered on the British Forces Germany system. The cars have to be fitted with euro spec headlights (not US as they are flat beam) and tested to comply with German laws. The Z32 wasnt a hit on Germany, i've been here 2 years and only seen 1 LHD Z31 and not a single Z32. If you do manage to find one they will be VERY expensive compared to the UK prices, they are a bit more common in Holland. I would reccommend to look at the possibility of getting a UK car and importing it into Germany. I'm assuming you are with the US forces as your in Ramstein? I fly down there a bit so will have to give you a shout. Hope that helps a little bit, feel free to give me a shout anytime bud. Rob
  4. With or without stickers I wouldnt pay 10 grand for it
  5. Still try and fit the fronts tho mate. Be aware however the leather ones are fully electric drivers side and part electric passenger side.
  6. It was a total pain mate, I had to remove basically everything in front of the engine. Oh and left half my knuckles behind aswell.
  7. I had the same problem and sorted it the same as Stu did. Cant tell you how p1ssed off I was when I found it. Why the f#ck would you have 1 hex bolt on it??????
  8. Sounds like a plan mate, well there's 2 here in Gutersloh but mine is currently dead, and will prob be off the road for the whole summer :mad2::mad2: Sort something out tho fella
  9. Cheers for that buddy, I think I'm going to have to get the grinder out and see how bad it is. I haven't got any holes in the outer sill but the part underneath where the jack would go round feels pretty weak. Its also previously been jacked up by a mong and has pushed the base of the sill in. Rob
  10. Hi there Paul, Got a similar job to do to mine soon, apart from the e-bay panel how are you doing the rest of the sill? Bought replacement panel or fabricating your own? Not having a clue on bodywork I'm assuming you just angle grind the old metal off? Any help or advice would be great buddy. Cheers, Rob
  11. Haha thats mega, see Frank give it a good look. Christine Bleakley is hot too.
  12. Hi there all, I know its not a Z32 but it's the older brother of ours. Having not seen another 300ZX out here apart from Jonce I nearly fell of my bike when this shot past me. It belongs to one of the German civvie guys that work in my hanger, he don't drive it much as he cant easily get parts or people to work on it (sound familiar). Enjoy, Rob
  13. For a turbo conversion inc all the bits and a re-map is around the 7000 - 10000 pound mark. Mine is the original engine and is supposed to push out 276 bhp. The later models are over 300 bhp and can be identified by a bonnet bulge. IMO they are good cars however my 300ZX does feel faster.
  14. To be honest I've got a few things that really boils my p1ss, however the 1 that springs to mind at the moment because I heard it earlier is......... "I'll give you 110%" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No you wont because its a f***ing impossibility. Rant over LOL
  15. Woo hoo, def not the only person on here with a 350Z now LOL. Nice to see a red one for a change mate. Oh and welcome.
  16. In my opinion you pay the extra money for the carbon look, obviously there is the weight saving too. If your gonna paint it might as well leave the metal one on!
  17. Will only work if everything above the window line is carbon and the bonnet too. Works on the 350Z but cant imagine what it will be like on the 300ZX. Thought about doing it to be honest. Maybe somebody could photoshop a pic to see.
  18. A step by step on the repair would be ace Jeff, mine is quite bad aswell, maybe not that bad though. (I hope). Noticed it when I replaced my radiator.
  19. Yeah look the same mate.
  20. 1. The best of the Prodigy type album - Dont know the proper name off top of my head. 2. MoS Old Skool Classics - Ace :cool3:
  21. Really enjoy Black Hawk Down. Shows a different side to the usual war movie, i.e. things go tits up LOL. Hurt Locker is also pretty good I think. Wish they would turn the book Chicken Hawk into a film, awesome read.
  22. I had this problem a while back. Fitted a set of braided lines from Dan at DTA. Did the fuel filter at the same time and not had a single whiff since.
  23. Got mine - Brassing stuff up from a helicopter doing 120 Knots. Sweeeeeeeet LOL
  24. Haha, thats the 1. You have 1 as well I take it LOL.
