  1. I trained as a chef and a publican after selling computers for a living. I'm now a Lance Corporal in the Army and been in for 7 years. My job is a helicopter weapons/camera/winch operator. Bit of a difference to my earlier life :rofl:
  2. Hi guys, Another one of these has come up on e-bay, does it matter if its off a Jap spec and mine is UK???? Many thanks, Rob :bow:
  3. I think its still the blue, the yellow is the remote for the amp, that carries the signal from the head unit to the amp. The red that says cam im not sure about to be honest, ive only ever seen red as the power wire. Sorry cant be more help, have you tried the manufacturer website?
  4. There is usually 2 blue wires, 1 is for accessory which as said before normally has it written on it, and the other for power aerial. If the 2 are connected the wrong way it wont work. Made this error myself once  Hope that helps, Rob
  5. Cheers guys, From the info I have a series 1. The god awfull tweed interior gave it away :headvswal:headvswal
  6. Not really my cup of tea I have to admit but I have seen a lot worse. With the right front end and skirts I reckon it would look top. I think the black pinstripe need to be on it. Photoshop is the answer on this one mate.
  7. Hi there guys, Quick question, how do I find out what series my 1991 UK TT manual is? Might be a simple one for you but I'm sure I aint the only one wanting to know.:rofl: Many thanks as ever :bow:

  9. Hi there guys, After reading this and looking at the pics I need to ask a question. I have bought some coilovers and im assuming that when fitted it throws the camber out? So I should be fitting adjustable camber arms at the same time? Is this the same for the rear aswell? Many thanks fellas, Rob
  10. Thanks for all the info and advice guys, I've definatly decided to sack that idea off and speak to one of the lads on here that do it. The point made of knowing exactly what you have is pretty important. Many thanks again
  11. Many thanks Si, will go with your advice and speak to 1 them about it.
  12. Hi there everyone, Seen this on e-bay but as I know pretty much diddly squat about them I need some help. Will it be ok on a 1991 UK manual TT with an apexi filter and mongoose exhaust as the only engine mods? Also would it still be ok if i decide to mod the engine a bit more? Many thanks as ever. Rob
  13. Dont get smashed in the bars mate, if the locals know ur off to the circuit the next day they tell the old bill and circuit officials. Get the ring card and use it for ur laps. Buy them on the day and credit it with as much money as you like. Oh and book accomodation early as its busy. May see you there at some point that week, get back from Kenya week before and fancy a blast LOL.
  14. Evening all, Just a little note to say i'm off to Kenya with work for 7 weeks. Sounds good but its all work I can assure you LOL. Staying in a place called Nanjuki near Mount Kenya. However it aint all doom and gloom, when I get back there will be a few box's of parts to fit and trying to set-up a race between my ZX and the Army's Lynx helicopter up and down the runway at work. Of course pics will be put up as soon as its done. Enjoy the shows this summer, I am jealous. Regards, Rob
  15. Cheers Jeff, top advice as ever.:bow:
  16. Cheers Jeff, So in terms of bleeding do the calipers as normal and then the bits in the boot. Are the boot parts straight forward and self explanitary? Never done an ABS system before. Cheers again

  21. Hi there everyone, Bit of a strange one that I'm hoping somebody can help with. Cant get to the car at the moment to find out myself, does anyone know the distance from the center of the hub to the center of the caliper mounting holes? Thats on the front by the way. I'm making some brackets to fit Brembo calipers with 350Z discs. Many thanks, Rob
