Quick Q fellas, Did you do the throttle linkages and spring the same way? I want to smooth mine and powder coat it but was thinking of polished throttle bodies and linkages. Cheers, Rob

It got flooded on the base I'm at! Some prick didn't open the flood gates and the rain water had nowhere to go. It is good to strip it and hopefully the parts can be put to good use on other Zeds. However it was a horrible experience, seeing pools of water in places I didn't think it would get.

Now that sounds like a road trip mate. Try and get up here mate, the ring is awesome. I get back from Arizona 3 days before the start of the planned trip.

Hi there all, As the title says really, Jonce (Jonno) came round and we set about the drowned Zed. Ripped a lot of the interior out including the dash and everything behind the rear seats. It pleased me that I have made the right decision to scrap the car, we couldn't believe the amount of water still in the car even behind the dash and instrument binnacle!!!!!!! Took a lot of bits out the engine bay inc. plenum, rocker covers and various pipes and brackets etc. The intention is for a lot of parts to go in the new car I am buying. Really got the bug back today and cant wait to remove the rest of the parts like the brakes, wheels, radiator and exhaust. Will be sorting it out over the weekend as a lot of stuff will be going up for sale to fund the new beast. Cant say thanks enough to Jonce, if he hadn't come over it wouldn't have got started LOL. Below is a few pics I took off my phone, will take more as it goes and will be starting a Journal thread. Enjoy, Rob

Hi guys, I have a Mongoose quad exit SS system on my red Zed which will be removed tomorrow before the car gets scrapped. The Zed I am buying has a Oval tip JWT system fitted. Which one should I keep and which one should be sold????? Cheers, Rob

On eBay for £20 plus postage so how does £15 sound and I'll stick them in the post to you? Will remove them tomorrow and clip the wiring harness as well.
