Right guys, Took the plugs out and nothing abnormal. A bit of light brown at the tip. The smoke is white and smells awful. Its worst when its been idling for about 3-4 mins. I put my boot down and got a puff but nothing as bad as when idling.

That was the next thing to try, waiting for the old fella to get back with the long socket extender. Just did an ECU diagnostic and came up no fault found.

Hi guys, Got the new car on Wednesday eve knowing that I had to replace the PCV's to stop the exhaust smoke on the drivers side, passenger is ok. These were supplied with the car and I fitted these this afternoon. I also have topped up the oil as it was a bit low and have added a bottle of hydraulic lifter treatment as I had a ticking at the top of the engine. Anyway......... After all that I still get a lot of oil smoke when its been idling for about 3-5 minutes. It idles at about 900rpm and there is a distinct 'chugging' sound. It also doesn't seem as powerful as before. History on the car from the ad was engine rebuilt a few years ago and recently had both turbos replaced. Any help please guys as I have no idea what could be the drama apart from a fooked turbo. Cheers, Rob

Picked up my new Zed last night. 60 miles blast from Aylesbury back to Basingstoke and couldnt't stop smiling, I had seriously forgot how ace these cars are. Big thanks to ZX-TT (Craig) top bloke and made the international sale go smoothly. Will try and post up pics later once I've cleaned her and done a couple of jobs. Got loads of parts of my drowned red Zed to put on her but that won't happen till after my 4 week work provided holiday in Brecon !!!!!!!!!

Know that building well, walked past it everyday. Was at Wattisham last week on Optag with 663, much prefer Dishforth out the two.

Its mainly a colour to replace the tweed. I'm tempted to go track inspired and remove a lot of interior panels but then theres a voice in my head that says leather.

I heard it was rare mate, doesn't make it as easy to choose a colour as black plastics.

Thats how I did mine mate. Make the sure the surface is well prepped, loads of wet and dry needed. I primed it first in normal car primer and the several coats of plasti-kote. Came up sweet as a nut.

The bronze is pretty cool but............. It's the Ferrari grey for me dude.

Have you removed the BOV or just re-routed the pipework?
