  1. Have you tried a different Nissan dealer in another area? Also lookup the part # from an online parts website: http://nissan4u.com/parts/300zx/ and just give them that to quote on.
  2. These are the FSM specification pages for the front and rear stock suspension setup. It is not unknown for the wrong (ie Z31 300ZX) specs to be used by the aligment shop when they lookup the car's data. fa-26.pdf ra-23.pdf
  3. If you PM me your VIN code I will tell you what you car started life off with (manual/auto etc).
  4. Less is more - the designer's got the look spot on 25+ years ago.
  5. Stagger the joints along the harnesses to avoid unnecessary bulges when you tape it all up again.
  6. $600 plus shipping plus import taxes... I bought mine from the first production run which Robert sold directly to customers. I don't know how many (if any) are still unsold.
  7. These bad boys turned up this week from the States - 62mm billet throttle bodies designed and manufactured by Robert Bastian. They are fully CNC machined from billet aluminium and are beautifully made. They have proper shaft seals (no leaks under boost) and the butterflies are a perfect fit when closed. They need the return springs and stops transferred from OEM throttle bodies and the intake manifold will need porting to the larger 62mm bore. They will be installed along with AshSpec SMICs and 2.5" IC pipe work in due course. Held up to bright lighting: By way of illustration, this photo shows another car with the 62mm throttle bodies fitted (along with AshSpec IC pipe work):
  8. If it helps you, I can machine a spare nipple on the lathe so that you can run a drill bit true to the centre line of the threaded section.
  9. I can't see why you could not have that machined to create a new surface. The actual sealing area is shown below:
  10. You mean the conical seating area I've arrowed?
  11. "Traditional" Inorganic Additive Technology (IAT) Ethylene Glycol base. In this country (winter) 50/50 mix with distilled water is satisfactory. I change mine every two years and get it premixed from Nissan - L248 Premix Engine Coolant/Antifreeze KE902-99945.
  12. Except of course returning from PowerZed's!
  13. If this is your question then: http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/product.php/672/glow-fuse
  14. Terry, so long as you don't loose your Zed mojo again take your time - the car will look stunning when finished either way.
  15. Oh well. I was very tempted at the time to buy the blue one - it was in my favourite colour.
  16. That will be the one on the left then. Mark H. actually owned the blue one as well at the same time (which he sold on). The white one he kept and it was converted to a TT. The last I heard from him was that he popped the engine traffic light racing a Lamborghini in the King's road in London.
  17. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171783568279?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_nkw%3D171783568279%26_rdc%3D1 and the seller's website: http://www.specialistcars.net/newspecialistcars/carpages/142.html
  18. Perfectly! Thank you.
  19. Sorry, I'm suggesting your third option - "it'll be hardly noticeable different"
  20. Are those disks grooved to the edge?
