Cleaning throttle springs
Try using brake cleaner and a toothbrush first. I got mine to this stage and kept the anti corrosion finish on the springs.

Wheel woes
I could turn down those D1 nuts to fit the bore of the XXRs (assuming there is enough material left afterwards). My Blitz wheels have small diameter recesses and I use: M12 x 1,25 - 20 NUTS/SET WITH WHEEL LOCKS 13/16 MM PART NUMBER 65554 http://www.mcgard.com/index.php/automotive-2/index.php?option=com_hikashop&ctrl=product&task=show&cid=932&name=chrome-splinedrive-5-lug-wheel-installation-kit-m12-x-1-25-thread-size-set-of-16-lug-nuts-1-installation-tool-4-wheel-locks-1-key-key-storage-pouch&Itemid=0&category_pathway=0 -Andrew

problem possibly fixed
Have you tried a different Nissan dealer in another area? Also lookup the part # from an online parts website: http://nissan4u.com/parts/300zx/ and just give them that to quote on.

rear wheel tracking,
These are the FSM specification pages for the front and rear stock suspension setup. It is not unknown for the wrong (ie Z31 300ZX) specs to be used by the aligment shop when they lookup the car's data. fa-26.pdf ra-23.pdf

- 62mm Billet Throttle Bodies
$600 plus shipping plus import taxes... I bought mine from the first production run which Robert sold directly to customers. I don't know how many (if any) are still unsold.- 62mm Billet Throttle Bodies
These bad boys turned up this week from the States - 62mm billet throttle bodies designed and manufactured by Robert Bastian. They are fully CNC machined from billet aluminium and are beautifully made. They have proper shaft seals (no leaks under boost) and the butterflies are a perfect fit when closed. They need the return springs and stops transferred from OEM throttle bodies and the intake manifold will need porting to the larger 62mm bore. They will be installed along with AshSpec SMICs and 2.5" IC pipe work in due course. Held up to bright lighting: By way of illustration, this photo shows another car with the 62mm throttle bodies fitted (along with AshSpec IC pipe work):- Project Dittohead Red
If it helps you, I can machine a spare nipple on the lathe so that you can run a drill bit true to the centre line of the threaded section.- Project Dittohead Red
I can't see why you could not have that machined to create a new surface. The actual sealing area is shown below: - 62mm Billet Throttle Bodies
