  1. Best wishes on your Birthday Graham!
  2. Love it! In future make sure you clean the wires you are going to solder as any surface corrosion will make it hard for the solder to bite. The solder joins can look fine but are in fact dry and can fail. As you have crimped the joins you should be OK.
  3. But would you do that to your car?
  4. What a lovely looking resort!
  5. Always use the tunnel for the Zed for that reason. Mind you you need to be careful of the "kerbs" in the shuttle carriages and nice wheel rims, there is not a lot of room for error.
  6. I don't have any specific Nissan info on how to deal with nippleless ABS units. The '95 FSM has a misprint as it only refers to ABS units with bleed nipples. Anecdotal info on TT.net suggests loostening the line connections on the ABS just enough for fluid to come out and then bleed them as if they were a nipple. If you go that route I suggest that you keep the brake pedal down whilst loosening and then retightening the union to prevent air being drawn back in. That makes it a two person job. Try bleeding the calipers first and see how you get on.
  7. That and a garage full of potions and lotions to keep it in pristine condition!
  8. For Pre '94 models with bleed nipples on the ABS unit follow the bleed order and procedure as per FSM: http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/manual/manual/br/005.gif If you have front calipers with two bleed nipples you will need to bleed both sides of each caliper, outer nipple first then inner nipple.
  9. Come on it's a tidy car. May not be finished to your taste (or mine) but that dosn't make it a dog. Battery clamp needs a bit more work. Worth £8K, maybe not, but prices are on the up for good ones.
  10. Go on Andy, you know it makes sense...
  11. All the Z32s coming off the line had the same corrosion protection applied. Salt on the roads in the UK is the biggest killer. In Japan they don't use the stuff.
  12. Lovely car! Pictures please.
  13. Some info on doing the swap from Z1: https://www.z1motorsports.com/upload/Z1%20Z32%20NA%20to%20TT%20Conversion.pdf
  14. I have a pair of these spare (minus the fixing hardware). Any use to you? https://conceptzperformance.com/z1-upper-radiator-brackets-upgraded-radiators-twin-turbo-tt-black-nissan-300zx-90-96-z32-z1-urb-b_p_12306.php
  15. The overflow/expansion pipe from the rad is still connected to the tank?
  16. Nice photos Dave, you forgot to do something though...
  17. The "blank" third light on UK spec cars should be the colour of the car. Do you want a real one that works? This is now for sale again: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?185287-89-spec-third-brake-light&highlight=brake+light
  18. 17th September would work for me too.
  19. My apologies Howard, but I won't be able to make the run now. Perhaps another later this year? They are a lot of fun.
  20. If all else fails, this might work for you... http://www.300zx-twinturbo.com/tech/co/co.html
