check all the fuses one by one hopefully you have a shed load of fuses gone and no burnt wiring loom of whitch i had about twenty years ago on a dagnhnam dustbin.

I was thinking what next now. im thinking of a fuel pressure regulator and some injectors but there seem to be lot of choices to look at, dont want to go all out cas i have stock internals. But i do have a straght through decate exhaust, very large fmic, large aftermarket oil cooler, and the biggest k & n air filter, E.B.C . and new built tubs. I just thought if and when i have all the bits on the list to do. and if i do i dont want to compromise any reliability or running issues. oh where to start? any good read ups or links, much appriciated thanks.

I was checking fuses cas my lecy arial was working, but the time i finished i managed to fix interia lights and central locking, but me arial still dont work.

Hiya Jeff just thought id put this message up,then you can see where i am comming from. You said on the phone this morning that the cam belt was done and was straght forward. I am asuming that it hasnt been pluged in yet to the consult yet due to having no brakes still yet. I done well putting the wrong fluid in in the last min so i could move the car about me drive. Back to my list then i think by memory i have Cambelt, power steering belt, alternater belt. straghtn up steering wheel, reseal joint on exhaust offside mid, check ive done up /torqued up bolts on rear diff, them alan key things. top up gear box oil, i think im 0.5 ltr short. bleed clutch. Then i think its a blast up the road to make sure everything is all ok. when you get to that stage can you turn on my e.b.c that seats under steering wheel on the left to put in the correct settings so i dont have to muck around with it ,so i can just turn it on safely knowing im not going to blow anything up. Or at least lessen the risk.;. Then its just a last look over or a pre mot if you like just so when i get me car back im not going to get anymore suprises, when i get it home cas when home its straght to the bodyshop then mot. but if there is something that may need doing i think you might as well do it rather than someone else. Pending what it is and how much. Dont think ive missed anything apart from to say thanks to you all, for your help and advise.:yes:

I was just on the phone to her in doors cas i work away from home for three weeks at a time, when my better half said to me something. See let me explane. two weeks ago tomorow i had my car go over to jeff on the back of a truck half way accross the country to have some work done. when i went to move it i found two of my tyres were knakered so i took of two 18inch my other car as a temp measure just so it could go and have work done. the origanal wheels as well u know are 16 inch. my Sarah says to me tonight . "BABE I was looking out the window tonight and said to myself", I wonder how and what his going to do when he gets home to drive his other zed when he left it with two `16 inch and two 18 on it and the 16s are not legal just for starters. Rubbish , i didnt think that through to much did i. Jeff hows my car doing? Guess ill ring him in the morning.:glare::stupid:

dont know if its an issue with just japs cas mines a uk car and does the exact same thing, sometimes it works then next time itll go up and down more often than a pair of bar maids knickers, and thats just on tick over.

im not but my car is there having some work done to her, or at least jeff should have started on her,maybe? ill find out next week what the damage is,.

i would wait until you got the time and money to repair correctly. then take the skirts of to reveal the extend of the rot but be prepaired for some root that you cant see. and if its a uk car be even more prepaired and take a seat bud, dont despair and repair. long live the 300.

your size it says they are 0.94% about 6m dif, well within the perameter, but if you had put the same size at the front with say a profile of say 35 same as the rear you would been way outside the peramerters to plus 4.55%. heres the tool i found. http://www.etyres.co.uk/tyre-size-calculator.htm

my zed is over at zedworld at the moment but when it comes back its in the bodyshop to be painted lambo met pearl 3stg orange with a black bonnet and black wheels. im away at the moment off shore but if you have a look at some of my previouse threads yourll see the lambo colour im going for. i think its called atlas lambo orange. s... hot.

What i should have said was no more or less than 2.5% + or - 2.5%

I was looking around the web when i came accross a tool/calculator that gives you a measurement in percentage to tell you what you should or shoulnt put on your car. Your tyre siezes from front to back have a difference in diameter and is measured in percentage and you shouldnt go above the recomended 2.5%. Heres a couple of sizes and results that i was playing with. 225 35 18 rear 225 40 18 front = -3.45% rubbish result 265 35 18 rear 245 40 18 front = 1.56% rubbish but within the recomended perameter. 275 35 18 rear 245 40 18 front = 0.46% tonnes better and really low/good but then i got this next result, 265 35 18 rear 235 40 18 front = 0.31% This was best result i could get right accross the board. I was going for the 275 rersult but i belieave im only gaining 10mm on the rear tyres so i think im going to be getting 265 35 18 rear 235 40 18 front.

that will be caused be a cheap single pack laqaure ur going to need 2 pk and a resperator
