id be wanting to check all fuses one under the dash in the footwell drivers side, one of them even isnt listed as the centarl locking i think but the central locking shares it fuse with the intera lights and the little clock. if they work then the fuse is good.if they dont theres your problem.

Spigot rings, think thats right someone will sone tell me if wrong. where can i get some. i have just yesterday got my wheels back from being refurbed and wheel have them balanced once i get my tyres delivered. but being an aftermarket wheel can i just buy these things and fit .

but its getting done and yourll be in the safe knowledge that its metal not pooh.

dont want a big numberplate stuck on the front, today i have been down the model shop and bought myself a mech that is used for bringing up wheels on the undercarrage of remote planes. cost so far £23. 00. plus ill need some servos ect, The children have a remote controlled mini that the remote was binned or gone down the charity shop. so tonight ill be pulling everything out of there to use, watch this space.

i have both and i prefer to drive the tt on a weekend. but that said its been off road for two long due to problems that you wouldnt get with a na. ive had this na auto and it aint slow by any means i bought it cas my other car the daily driver had a head gasget and i knew this one and its history and is now up for sale. i prefer the man but im a drivers person and love doing doughnuts and controlled skids and the like, that said i also like the fact i can give it large to the auto well in the knowing that its very unlikely to break, there cheaper to insure cheaper to fuel and you can have a insainly loud exhaust which i have on my black na.it still get the looks sounds the tits and sometime its nice to relax and drive without the clutch but ive done alot of work and invested to much money in it so im keeping the man and if i had to choose and i have id choose the man but it all depends on what you want out of your drive and your bugdet. or you could buy a sound cheap na and laters if laters want to change to a tt then do a engine swap. if thats the case then give me shout. good luck with your search bud.

Im serious about getting one of these flip up number plate things but are they legal? i thought as long as your showing your plate then they should be?

that dont bother me i was just trying to see if there were any advantage for going a bit stickyer at the back but didnt want to upset the cars handling in any way.

I dont know but before i had them refurbed and painted thats what size that was on them.

Basically do i buy the same make and model of tyre front and back or put on slight dif tyre on the rear. I was thinking of the tyre size is going to be the same for both groups here goes. Toyo Proxes T1 Sport; rear 265 35 18 £142.00 and front 235 40 18 £123.00 or Yokohma Advan Sport V103 rear 265 35 18 £156.00 Toyo proxes C18; 235 40 18 front £123.00 Basically i was thinking rather than a good all round i was thinking a really good tyre up frount and some reall good but pos better sticker tyres at the rear.Any ideas on that please.

I now shes got a few blemishes and that tear in the seat but she come from a mate of mine whos had her for several years and only used her to run her to mots every year and during summer, i bought her in jan this year when my partner had bought herself a new pug and id asked to keep her old car as a run about but her rovers head gasget went and i new this car was used as a part time car and had an excuse to buy her cas my lomg term project wasnt finished but after nearly 6 years of the road shes nearly ready and at jeffs having cam belt ect done at zed world, thats why the black ones now going. Any sensable offer and shes gone .so i can put the money back to pay for the painting of the other one.
