hi peeps, i would in the early stage go through the gears no smoke until idle, then used to sit at traffic lights and get embarsed because of smoke,then i used to keep reves just over 2500 smoke gone ,as it turns out in the long run left bank turbo oil seal gone, ps. i note you have decatted as well.

Dose anyone on here no if there is an step by step guid to take out ingine,because im thinking of doing it myself to replace the tubs but in no rush.oh rer, and putting it back? :)

My left bank oil seal has gone so i come to think ,oh! well best replace both now.

Who On Here, If Had To Replace There Tubs.and What Did You Go For And Why?

mate this is such an open ended subject it could take forever...on the right top corner there is a button called "search" you hit that with your chosen word and the place becomes a tangled mass of knowledge YER sorry mate ive tried that and like you say you get bombarded with info but i can go back through the links forever ,but i thought someone would have done this before. per-haps ill try a pole,on the lines of if you had to replace your tubs did you go stock or what did you buy and how much,

Can anyone here find me a thread or link to some-one whos got the stats on what could be the best replacment tubs to fit without changing tonnes of other stuff, because im confused .i dont want to go stock but do i go sport /gt 525 or higher . please help. :headvswal :bow:

i dont know the right anwser but my cars been of road for two years,due two work but i turn mine over ever 6 months.i just turn it over not reving at all and just let it tick over untill its up to temp.

I need to have my ingine out and have a turbo replace because my left bank turbo oil seal has gone so been advised whilst engine is out might ads well replace both turbos at same time. But now im thinking shall i sell ingine and other bits because all good and replace with a v8. anyone done this and are there many problems to overcome?:rolleyes:
