right here goes , whos got a 300 zx32 engine that is dead. by dead i mean were someone blew one up or something or head gasget and want rid. the reason im asking is because im wanting to build a table out of the engine block so ill be taken out pistons and conrods to weld inplace before acid striping then chroming you get the idea. oh and the nearest to norwich the better for obvious reasons and the block more compleat the better as well. thanks.

Cant wait now .Its gone to the paint shop this morning. its going to come back in Labogini 3 stage orange florescent with a satin black bonnet satin black wheels and black roof bars, plus a little black were the fmic surround. ive just spent the week stripin her down. all trim around windows .door cards .targa and door rubbers all the lights trim and fittings. mrs is not happy with door cards and trim on bedroom woardrobe in and ontop even got the h shaped roof linning standing next to our bed, cant afford to put it in shed cas kids will get it damaged.when i get back from working away ill get photos up. cant wait 6 years and now its nearly finised cant wait . cant wait:cool2::cool3:

start with 4 to see if it holds that pressuse if it goes down quickly then up it to five max so you can listen out for any leaks, if you go to 4 and it holds for 10 min fine if it goes down slowly then just start checking all the pipes listen carfully and a small be of hairy fairy on the finger tip for ckecking of bubbles sometimes helps.

the only diff yourll notice cas ive had both is if you drive a car insted of letting it drive you then yourll be more slippery in the leather seat than a hoes knikers on a sunday morning. im sticking to my cloth but that said when i slow down ill be getting leather cas it looks better. live life drive a 300

well im keeping mine and i am going to fit an electric fan aswell cas ive the space now ive taken out air con rad so i can put an electric fan the other side just for hot long quews and driving like you stoll it ,just for reasurance.

ive got scorpion on mine and i dont think its loud att all until you open it then sounds lovely , if you want to here a loud exhast then ask Baz if hell record his .thats loud made my scorpion sim really quite. good luck with the tank. when i first got mine i couldnt put any more fuel in than twenty quid cas my feed pipe was rotten. sorted now. andy car parts on here will be able to supply dont go to dealer there a fortune.

heat blanket around the tubs then exhaust tape around the maifolds and the down pipes. got to do the down pipes as ive had new down pipes made up and all that heat soak fibre stuff has been replace with just a stainlees steel tube.

Im thinking of wrapping my turbos up in that heat sheild stuff to keep the unnderbonnet temp down. My question is is there a pre-maid jobby out there or shall i down the route of the heat soak blanket and stanlees steel cable tires. And if the later am i right in saying thats fine and wouldnt damage the tubs or hinder any thing. dont want to cause any issues.thanks?

rubbish didnt want to drop whole roof linnig down just enough to get to the bolts for the rear hatch ,hey ho nevermind, thanks for the info thou.guess its time for foof off. but you know this is what i love about this club. someone before you has worked on something you havnt and before you break something its easly solved. cheers m8

I have striped loads today getting ready for the paint shop. strip of door cards droped roof linning at rear, craked the talgate nuts, and striped the tailgate and pulled wire through, and striped targas down and the doors of all trim and rubber then got stuck. were on earth do you get the tool from to take out the center roof bar,its being painted in there and colour change so needs to be removed. im looking at a torque driver on a very short bend of 45% in less than 1/2 a centermeter.im going to a dealership tomorow to pick up some trim parts and conecters to put stuff back tight when paint done but i bet theres no such tool you can buy from them. any ideas.please.

Right i was reading another thread and something that i took from that was if you have to much air and not enough fuel you will melt your pistons from running to lean. Now my question is if you put a after market air filter on your car like i have Jeff. and in my case the air filter size and potentally the cubic inch of air intake over the norm set up is greatly increased is there a chance of this? i now you said my car was pluged into a cunzult after doing a cambelt but can you explane to us thickes how this works? and why there is no threat of the melt down. what stops that is it your set up or is it something else . ? thanks.

yer the one peace top seal on the top front seems to be more than one peace, ive taken the sides off and got replacment ones of those with the black plastic stuff on, but again id hoped id ant got to take the screen out just wanted to take the sides off. they are, and take the top off so the paint went were its meant to go, but its looking like ive got to take the screen out.but also i belieave there is a trim for the front top that a bmw trim fits saving money.

on the rear glass the top dosnt need to be removed unless its needed to be out when and if glass needs to be taken out. cas the paint isnt going anywere near the middle of glass as for the one pieace side and bottom strip at the rear ill have a look for that thread if someones got one but can that come out without the rear screen being removed?

Well as some of you know im finnaly getting my car striped and ready for the paint shop and whilst doing this im just having question or two about the window rubbers. Has anyone taking them off /out.because. .the rear trim that gose around the rear window from the outside on the side and bottom all one pieace tome likes once when new looks like it was on a roll and was quite flexi nut twenty five years later has got hard.question is was is flexi when new and ifso is it easyly sorced. and finnally the front top winscreen seems to be in two bits and didnt someone say the bmw one fits, and if thats the case then do the front windowscreen need to be removed? please, thanks.

well here you go i live at nr104dr ive had my licence for over twenty five years so has my partner. i private rent a house dont know why the aske but id like to know. we have another 5 year old pug i want full cover comp and like i say i work away so millage will be low less than 4.500 per year i was born in 69 and the other half 71 you do the math. i have a compleaty clean licence with no indormence accident or convitions nor has the other half.should be straght forward enough ,what u think?leave some contact details and ill give you a ring. and if anyone esle know of some competative comps then ill give them a shout to.cheers.
