  1. Have to be The P5B Coupe, But I've done that before so I'd for a VX220 to be honest. You can pick em up for that kind of money and the Turbo will chip to 300bhp with un rivaled handling and unde 4 second 0 to 60 and 150 top end. + light on fuel and unlike the Elise the ride of the VX220 is something you can live with on a day to day basis.
  2. Mike its crap I'll do you a favour though buddy and take it off you hands.
  3. I've gone through allthese options and have replaced every rubber seal on the car. it has to be the targa drains and proberbly side skirts blocking them. Which will mean new sills as well :headvswal :headvswal
  4. Don't have aircon anymore and carn't see it come out from bellow the sill. So looks like a uncomfortable few hours upsided down in the pasenger footwell next decent day :headvswal :smash:
  5. Usually they are installed where the battery normally is as is the Expantion tank for the Rad. So you have to install the battery in the boot.
  6. I'd tell them you want a favourable quote or your going elsewhere and see what they come up with.
  7. Right before anyone says Heater matrix I assure you its new and not that as car doesn't use water. I have brand new OEM door seals, complete new OEM Targa seals and Targa Door seals. It only happen when car is stood not when car is moving. Where do the Targa Drains go? could one be damaged and leaking into foot well.
  8. So long as I haven't won the lottery she'll stay in one peice. May look differently if I can just go out and buy a new R8 oooooww and a few other bits of exotica.
  9. How many no claims do you have and did you loose any? Did the person that rear ended you fork out or did you claim on your own insurance.
  10. I think the whole premise is crap. Its the kind of totally unreal cenario that teenagers would talk about when there smashed out of their head. "hey what would you do if you got captured by aliens or AlQueda and they started to rip ya mates guts out and the only way to get away was the gnaw you own arm off". Extremely poor vail for sadomasochistic voyeurisum. Just joint the army and get your ass out to Irac and you can see what happens to a person thats stood next to a 500bL car bomb when it goes off, or cut in half by a chain gun etc every day. You never know, if you got caught you could find out for real. I really think films like this are made for sad bast*rds and watched by even sadder people still.
  11. Go on then how much
  12. Lovely Guy. Only 19 and his first tour of duty. Only 5 weeks ago me and my eldest lad were having a pint with him and his big brother who's a corpral in the same regiment. They've just bought a house in Lancaster and we were arranging to go out on the raz with them one night when Jamie got back. My wife is really upset. I feel for his family, but he new the risks and believed he was making a posertive contribution. So young and so proud. Then I heard today of the new insentive for prolific criminals. Their going to pay them £10k a year on top of there social securety not to reoffend as that will cost £20k a year less. WTF This nation does not deserve the selfless sacrifices of our soldiers.
  13. Theres one called lightart I think.
  14. WTF????? Yur Seck Yew arrr
  15. Hoi I was the first to use that blue 4 years ago, Then Mike Feeney copied it then Toulaqouce then Eggy then Mr Farrow. Get your own colour.Magnolia would look good
  16. Harry Halfrauds sell them in several different lengths.
  17. Cheques in the post Si
  18. Yep Believe it or not Johnny with his State of the art Garage and being a "300ZX Expert" Used to take his car to C & S Woods to be fixed :headvswal The more I find out about this scum bag I can't understand why I felt sorry for him. He is just a professional con man who still it would apear is convincing some people of the same old stories. Just the names of the Charactors change. + A lot of people have had their reputations mard. I even remember a member her being accused of duffing Johnny up with a gang of mates on a Saturday morning that I was with Johnny. He never said a thing to me and didn't have a mark on him. Yet he let the roomer be know on hear and there were people prepared to go down and sort this member out. To the point the guy was hounded off the forum. Please stop mentioning Johnny and GPS because it just makes me seeth every time.
  19. When I bought my Z in 99 they were a rare car as they only officially sold £1500 UK Zeds Which ment yhat the values kept really high. I read an insurance survey on all Jspec imports 2 years ago. It listed all Jspec cars imported. Including some Yank iron that is sold in RHD over there. It listed over 5000 Jspec Z's insured in UK. Thats more than 3 x then official number ever sold.
  20. Yes they do, but it tends to be far more motorway milage and a lot less stop start and sitting in traffic jams. Which is why UK engines and gear boxes last longer. Mines a Nov 1994 UK car. Slight blister on O/S rear arch and rusty Battery tray. Everywhere else seem fine. Rear arch will be cut off this winter to recieve my Explosion Arches and battery tray is to be removed as Battery will be in boot. Plenty of stone chips though.
  21. Completely Agree. I love the 240 and 260 SWB Zeds.
  22. Also experienced what danny is saying in a Auto box on a 2.5 Honda Legend I had. I was told buy one guy that the box was scoobied, but took it to a Borge Warner engineer in Chester and it was some valve seals and worn out fluid in the Torque Converter. Cost me about £200 and never gave me a spot of bother after. Or the father of one of the girls at work who bought it of me about 2 tears later.

OH yes I did think the ferry back to hull was brill because I was in such a tacking i couldn't have dive all the way to Calis afer a full nights achohol and substance abuse + 1 hours kip. I'm in for this and the finish at Bruge but I'll book the Ferry back to hull so I can chill.
  24. Sorry mate my GPS radar goes to system red every time I hear his name. it was a £9K learning expirience. The best way ro get to those pipes is to remove the plenum. I found (having had to remove my plenum a few times now) that a a couplr of raps with a rubber mallet brakes the seal. A wollop from each side once the bolts down the centre and the 2 side plates are removed.
  25. Duffy To the rescue:bow:  Now that is what you call Good cub spirit Fair play Andy Duff For President  :slap:
