  1. Yep all the above is true However the Electric fan give better performance than the viscus (as mine was brand new and for sale if anyone wants one) and the heat sink protection given even without the electric pump, still prevents heat exchange from Turbos and manifolds to perishable such as hoses and wiring. + generally cools engine very quickly as opposed to it rising in temp for the first 30 minutes.
  2. I have a friend who works at tweeks so I got mine there, I'd say it'll cost you about £1.30.
  3. I suggest you check out the independant tests on the Pacet fan for yourself then. As the new bread of multi blade Electric fans are so much better than the viscus fan. It is a proven fact that it outperforms any other electric or Viscus fan presently Available. When you stand infront of my car and the fan kicks in you can feel the wind as it sucks air through. It's like the same type of blast you get if you stick your head out the window at 50mph. Honestly there is no Viscus fan that shifts that kind of air volumes. Ask anyone whos got one or experienced being present during its operation. + All the top tuners world over use and promote their use for high performance engines. Ask yourself why. I know that my car is in a higher state of tune and mechanical modification than most on this board and my viscus Fan couldn't deal with the heat transfer that the NA oil squirters transferes from the piston crowns to the oil and oil to water. If I was sat in heavy traffic I was having to overide my secondry aircon fan (An electic item) to assist the viscus keep on top of the temps. it wasn't a comfortable experience. The Pacet solved the problem to a degree I couldn't have believed had I not experienced. They are awesome. It allows the car to reach normal operating temp quicker during winter. Which means your oil is working correctly, thus protecting Engine and Turbo Bearings. It overruns when you switch engine off to prevent heat soak (very important for cars vith after market bigger turbos) Don't just believe me check it out on other performance boards, look at rally car, race car and hill climbing race car setups. Pacet or the 12 blade kenlows are the way to go with an aging car that suffers from problem caused by high enging running temps and heat soak.
  4. In standard form they don't handle as well as an Evo, but I've been a passenger in a sorted one and it was very impressive. I still would say that the Volvo T5 R or C70T5 GT is better handling and far more torque and a £350 Rica Chip and tuning will deliver 320 BHP of such muscular brute force that you'll swear that its 450BHP. + they have a far better residual value and really understated.
  5. Si have a look at Ground control coilover kits for the 300zx. Thay allow you to drop the high to what ever you want from 5mm to 60mm. They come comeplete with a specially made Hiebach progressive spring, but they are Shocker specific. If you go for KYB's or Koni Pro Sports Shocks you end up with a filly ajustable coil over set which is superior to Tein Just go to the Ground control shop on the web. These are $399 at the moment which is about £220 and shipping will cost about £50 + they'll mark em down to $50 to avoid duty.
  6. All I will say is that next morning Breakfast was late at the Hotel (Thank god or I wouldn't have made it) because the Trip switches had been removed from the side of the Castle where the kitchens are. I'm sure they were found after we checked out. Along with the bulbs from that wings main corridor. I'm told its haunted and I remember nothing about it.

I'd think so. That would be about the correct price for a brand new engine fitted by a dealer.
  8. I got Photos of my works do, but apart from bing pissed and dresses as Emperor Charlemagne complete with a dirty great sword there very tame. Though my business partner had to be removed later when he started making rasist coments to a Black inspector from Scotland Yard. Nothing nasty, and had he not been pissed I'm sure he wouldn't have aired his observations. i.e. "Hey Keith", "HEY Keith your teeth are are really white, and look at the whites of your eyes man" He was swiftly removed.
  9. I've had a 16 blade Pacett Fan with in line thermo switch. This increases your HP by about 10 bhp and used less fuel. I've had it for over 2 years and never a single problem. With regard to over heating, well that is utter rubbish. The modern electric fans are obviously superior to the viscus otherwise the motor industry (including Nissan) would have kept using then, which they haven't
  10. The Bond Charactor is suposed to be SBS. That is wht he is called commander bond and not Major. I saw the film and though it is closer to the feeling of the original Fleming (him having been a SBS Commander) Novels it was still a little cheesy at the begining and towards the end, but I did enjoy it more than the usual Bond Tosh.
  11. Linglong china man Say dees rubbery and cheap but cunfushas say Man who dive on Linglone Know many body wipair shops
  12. Is it after heavy rain by any chance?? Do you have a none standard induction?
  13. Where did you get those figures from. I think if your car was set up to those specs it will handle like shite. + they are way off Factory settings. Set up on my car is rock solid, very posertive, grips really well in the corners and even pushing around 500 hp or 400RWHP it bites in rather than breaks out. Really the best balanced set up I've had on my car. Front Toe = 0.0 minutes Front caster = 9 degrees Front camber = 2 degrees negative Rear Toe = 3mm negative Rear caster = Fixed standard setting Rear Camber = 3 to 4 degrees negative
  14. Most people here have converted from Auto to manual. I converted my car from Auto to manual about 2 years ago. I feel that it make the car more responsive and gives you more control. If your looking for a TT manual I'm selling mine. Its had over £30,000 spent on it in the last 2 years and I recon I've upgraded just about everything. See my rides for specs though they are 6months out of date ar I've made even more up grades. If your serious about a well sorted and looked after Zed I'm looking for about £9K
  15. Don't touch the Mazda or the Alfa as they have many inherant problems though the Duratec engine in the Mazda is the same as the Mondeo (Same floor pan and monocock) which is a far superior car. Audi VW build quality speeks for its self though not very interesting the madel you've mentioned. I always advocate the merrits of the V70 T5 Volvos and especialy the T5R AWD. Good handling, build quality, fuel consumpsion, bags of space and 240bhp to 300bhp, but most importantly robust unchallenged reliability
  16. sounds good and has been talked about in the past, but is it like many other so called US wepons systems. Just hunkum bunkum. Remember Star wars and even early tests with Patriote etc. Fact its not been used already suggests its not what they say, because the situation over there is dyer and the White House is desperate to win the peace so they can justify not just the war, but why so many US troops have had to die. Remember the US people seem to have a short attention span.
  17. That is just the basic spec ECU. The Ford uprated spec ECU pushes the power up to 420bhp and the power to weight ratio for this car would leave a standard Zed for Dead. This is a hand built sports car with a prodominately carbon fiber body. All the road tests I've read about this car say that its handles awesomely, but the build quality although high isn't as good as the then new Porsche 997. Add to that a £70K new price tag (same as a 997)and slightly down on power and build quality. Which would you buy. The fact however that these are rare they can only increase in value over the next 10+ years. If I had the money I'd have it and Garage it most of the time.
  18. I have the Greedy Profec E1. I used to have the Apexi AVCR and the Apexi S-AFC I got the Profec for the screan and because I was going to go down the WideBand lamber and you could then used the profec screan for mapping. The New Apexi stuff is the Dogs parts and IMO better than the Greedy stuff.
  19. Yep but they can be sived out as your increasing the Akaline for the fats to solidifiy. Then go for a nice drive with and lob a tooth every mile or two. No body is going to find a tooth and think someone has been topped.
  20. Disolve them in strong Acid then nutralise with AlKaline Add perfume and trun them into soap. for Chrismas gifts
  21. My tailgate had the holes welded. You just need to make sure the person doing it knows what their about. Lee at Wrexham autoKraft was going to weld a plate to the reverse to stop the flexing but as strange as it sounds. Once the holes were welded the skin was quite rigid.
  22. Yep, but what is he going to relist it as. A Vindaloo MASSERATTI???
  23. Get a little more right wing and you can join my new political party.Till then ZEEG HILE MINE UNDEN FURRA    I completely agree, but lets face it the lunatics are definately running the loony bin previously known as Great Britain.
  24. If you use aircon a lot you will get condensation in the ducting and it can take an hour of good heat going through it to clear. This happens to all my cars once you start looking a warmth after the warm weather. Take her for a good blast and keep the heaters oh until she's clear. You'll ned to give all directions about 20 mins ie Feet Face and Screan. If it steams up after that then you got a leak somewhere.
  25. 72% of the cars here are Jspec
