F.A.O The Twinz
You have to do the Photo shop stuff as I'm useless at it. Partly because I don't have photo shop and partly because I'm a perfectionist and would keep at it till it was bang on. That take too much time for us technophobs

F.A.O The Twinz
Right if I'm to make one the final design has to be decided before I go to molds. I would say to make the first one from which I take my molds from would take a 2 to 3 weekends. However it may take a week or two to make space in my garage first, but its a job I've got to do anyway. Then once the molds are made the coach firms I've already spoken to (as I was going to and still might make a full wide arch kit) said that they would make the pannels, ie each mold between their main work of building coach pannels. If we drop lucky it could be straight away or could be 3 or 4 weeks it just depends. So I realisticaly say 3 months, but if all goes well could be sooner. I'll go ahead and make one maybe 2 (1 same as the twins and one with indicators like mine) and post em up and see what people think. if its OK then I'll ask Mac 1 if I could run a GB for everyone. P.S. Would people be looking at the stroseck style healamp pannel??? If so it could be bought from Luke or I could make one. I'll have to think on that one, because if its going to be Lukes then the bumper will have to be made with that pannel if you know what I mean. So that I get a accurate fit.

I moded my bumper in half a day. If I had somewhere to work I could knock that bumper off in 2 days, 2 days to get it really flat for making the mold then I could have the glass done via a local coach body firm using the mold. How many of you would buy one if I make it & how much are you prepared to pay? I must have serious numbers and proper orders to make it worth my while. The coach firm will charge me £90 per pannel = one bumper, but that is a proper spay gelcoat ultra fine fiberglass that will not have air bubbles to pop in a spay oven. with the work involve and the fetching and carrying I'd want £250 per bumper. I'm not going into business this is a one off uless it there's a future in it.

garett gt 28
you should speek to someone like Turbodynamics. They are the autherized UK distributor as I'm sure you'll find the standard actuators on the GT2871RS are little on the large side for sqeezing into the Z engine bay. I got my GT2837RS (I think its 37,could be 73. would have to look at the receipts) Turbos direct form Turbo dynamics and they came with the correct HKS acuators specified for the car. I know Steve bought his in the states and had to get the HKS acuators after. Also the standard Fuel pump will handle the max flow off the Nismo 610 injectors so with 555's that isn't an issue.

new jag... beautiful.
Yep the new Mondeo and the Aston 4 door. Does that make the new Mondeo more desirable or the new Jag and Aston more down market????

Anyone help me import a car from Japan
Thanks Si but if I was going to have the engine rebuilt then I'd use C&S Wood as I've Had a API so called Rebuilt engine. It just isn't viable to rebuild the engine because the damage is so extreme you really couldn't trust the gearbox or drive shafts. Here's the snapped rod, you can also see the rear of the piston skirt is broken off as well

Anyone help me import a car from Japan
I know some people on here have imported cars from Japan. I'm looking for some help as to were I need to start looking, beause little ladies TRD is a write off. 2 twisted and smapped rods, Damaged crank, 2 bores totaled and even cams damaged. All from hitting a big puddle (well a 13" deep flash flood) Toyota UK want £7000 for a new TRD engine + VAT. So total repair bill around £9000. Hence write off. So I want to import another and don't know who to chase.

Vibration
What tyres you running her on. I Imported a TRD Celica (the one in my sig) and I thought the wheel bearings where knackered. So I replaced them and it made no difference. I had the wheels checked out to see if they'd been damaged in shipping or needed balancing. I tried the drive shafts, the LCD diff and in the end it turned out to be the tyres. I swear by Bridgestone S02 for the Z. I'm in my 8th year of ownership and have done 130000 miles and tryed at least 10 different makes, but always come back to the Bridgestone S02's. I've had eight sets. The TRD had Bridgestones on, but they really just didn't suit the car. So I put Perrelli Rosso's on and all was smooth. I since put Micheline Pilots on the TRD and they really suit the car. So try some Bridgestones
