worst car for reliability?
Most unreliable car I've ever owned is my Z after the attensions of Grass Hopper. Have a load of fored and the only unreliable thing I've had with them is that you could never rely on it still being on the drive next morning. Had nicked MkII 1600 Mexico. Much more powerfull than the RS2000 MKII RS 2000 (few that was lucky) MkIII XR3 Coppers found it 6 years later because my Lewis leathers bike jacket was still in the car (worn out to death) and he had never removed a receipt for bike tyres made out to me in the zip pocket on the sleeve.

Merry Christma Everyone
Had a shit time so far. Little wifey drove the TRD Celica into a fash flood last week. The induction is real low down in the N/S wing. Sucked up several gallons of water and Totaled the engine. Mashed up all the internals. broken rod etc. And a load of other sh1t, including last night in Hospital after my cat bit me and my hand and arm swelled up like a ballon. Still painful. Oh yes and a masive Tax bill under IR35 even though we operated or contractors under the guidence of the same tax office thats nobbled me. But do you know what? I'm actually looking forward to Christmas now. all my recent misfortunes and really I'm still so much better of than so many other people around the globe. It's made me think about what Christmas really is about. So I genuinely whish you all a very good and happy Christmas.

If you dressed as a KKK you'd be locked up before you got to the end of the street for insighting racial hatred as the KKK are outlawed in the UK. Apart from the pointed hat the costumes are very similar and wether by design or not, because of the terror threats etc. These religious costums are having the same effect on the none muslim people of this country as the KKK garb had upon the Black comunities of the southern states of the US. I've seem people get of trains and busses as soon as such attired people board. They feel intimidated and would rather wait for another bus or train.

t5 estate
I've had 3 Estates and 1 C70 which I've still got. They are a big lardy bus if you just get the basic motor. Are you thinking 850, V70 MK1, Mk2 or Mk 3 The 850 was a higher HP at 236 with the 850 R 250. The R models are well sorted and handle superb, Lowered, bigger brakes, Struts bars and better induction all standard. The Rica ECU upgrade will knock your standard 850 or 850R to roughly 320 BHP but the torque curves are awesome and the Rica chipped T5 will nail a standard TT Z V70 mk1 and 2 are 220 BHP standard and 240 for the R and the C70GT's The C70GT and the R's have all sorted suspension, bug brakes etc and handle really well, Some are 4x4 drive though very rare. They have a different Turbo and When Rica chipped and will push 320 bhp with bags of Torque. My standard C70 GT was a match for some Zeds on the Nurburge run. The mk 3's are well sorted ,but big money and come as 250 bhp standard or 300 BHP for R type.

If you got caught in an airport with a false beard, glasses and a wig you'd be locked up or shot dead if your a white male quicker than you could say wig. The point of a berka or what ever they are called is to hide the face Why?????. If you don't want anyone to know what you look like then stay out of public places. The security problems we have in the west due to fundimentalist Terrorist means that we must be able to see who you are. However the people claiming their religious right to hid their Identity are the same cultural & ethnic groups who's peers are wanting to blow us up. Surely any reasonable Muslim leader can see this and would if their intentions were truly peace full and law biding call for an end to the Yashmaks and Berkas as a sign of good faith and unity. I think if they carn't respect our whishes (which they obviously don't) then they should be deported back to whence they came regardless what tale of woe they have told us.

Listen there's nothing wrong with it that a lump of lead in its ear can't cure. You administer with a Perdi at point blank. Stops all bad behaviour permenantly.

Sub Aqua Celica
Yep sorted it today with insurance people. So its off to C & S Wood on monday for investigation, but its not looking good as engine appears to be locked up solid. Where can I buy TRD parts or even a new engine from Japan.

Sub Aqua Celica
As I've Said Sub Aqua TRD not reallt recomended Good lady wife got call from her father yesterday afternoon say his car wouldn't start. I knew from all the standing water around that he'd got a wet engine and proberbly would dry out. Of course this was the wrong thing to say to the good lady as she's worrying about he dad so I say I can pick him up or help get him started etc but I've not got time to start towing him here there and every where. again wrong thing to say. So while she calls the RAC I go out in the 4x4 Pickup (yes I'm one of them ) to pick up the nipper from school. I realize just how bad the floods are and think other half better not head of for her dad it the Celica. Call home? Number one son home from college for Crimbo picks up phone and says she' just left in the Celica. Panic stations!!!! Try to get her on mobile its switched off. OOOH NOOO. Next thing phone goes and little lady is on the Phone. "Can you come and pull me out as I'm stuck in a big puddle. BIG PUDDLE? It was a lake. The car was in about a foot of water and comepletely covering the forced air induction feed. It has sucked up god knows how much water and hydroliced the engine. I suspect with caterstrophic results. Should I require all or a few of the TRD internals for repairs Where should I be looking

I got bit by my sisters wolf
Yep you should have kicked the living crap out of it. We used to have Great Danes for years. Always had a dog and a bitch. All dogs at some stage will try to esablish it's position in the Pack (how they view the family) They all try it on and will if aloud try it on with any new incoming males unless they know well and truely who is the pack leader. A good healthy Great Dane Dog weighs between 12.5 to 14.5 stone and has a bite compression of 2 tons. They were bread by the knights Templar as War dogs and could bite a horses lower leg off. So as gental as they can be you certainly keep em in line once they start to challenge. So if your sister has never established this then the dog will get to an age where it will not be ruled and will attack anyone who it feels are not obaying its rules or respecting its position as pack leader. If this is the case then it needs putting down as once. If it thinks its been top dog it will always keep trying to reacert it self. If not it needs knocking into shape so it knows its place real fast. Sorry to say it though but it sounds like its been left too late

Viscose Fan removal?
It didn't come cheap nor without costly misyakes, but it's getting close to what I want now. Got a new twin MAF/Power Enterprize induction system to go on and now I've had 7000 trouble free running in. Then its 740 injectors and if things go to plan next year a I'll be the only person in the UK with a Evolution Explosion wide arch kit but not the spazzy front ot rear bumper.

Viscose Fan removal?
Yes both Kenlow and Pacet do a complete kit with special rad mounts and a thermo switch. The Problem with the Switch that comes in the kit is that it uses a standard Thermo Coupling. Just the same as you'd find in a boiler. It has a long copper wire with a probe on the end which you have to incert into the top water pipe. The other end is attached to something that looks like its been nicked of a old cooker. Messy and cluttered. Your better to get the fan and fixing kit and then buy one of the inline thermo switch systems, either a preset probe switch which is fitted into the top of water pipe either by tapping it or with an addaptor. I went for the most expensive version, but it looks neat and doesn't obstruct the flow at all. It uses the wall of the adaptor pipe to convect the heat to a sensor switch mounted in a alloy box witch is part of the adaptor. At £40 its twice the price of the other alternatives but it really does look tidy. First three are of newer tidy type and last one of the original Cooker switch type, which I still have if anyone wants it. It'll cost you the postage.

Have you changed the diff at all? because the cable from the diff sensor to the ASB sensor might be damaged. So you'd have no ABS as well. Its unlikely that if the unit is there that its not yours as generaly my experience was that bits remove at GPS were never replaced, What ever the intentions where.

Please, please forgive me. It's not a name I come across very often you old misery. Oh and guess what I just happened to forget to take my Thesaurus of names and their origins out with me today. I know that was remiss of me MR Scrouge, but perhaps spelling your name like a disease was more whishful thinking, because your uncharitable demeanour with regaurd to Christmas is as sour as the taste of Beubonic Plage. Merry Christmas and may your balls go square and fester at the corners. :slap:

Viscose Fan removal?
Hi Andy Like I keep saying best doing a few searches and make your own mind up. I think what many are saying here is true for the old fashioned kenlow type fans, but the modern Fans and especially the race developed replacement fans like the Pacet are truely awesome. I used to have a kenlow on my Range Rover about 8 years back. It did its job but it was feeble. The Pacet fans would suck your hand through the rad it you were daft enough to try it and a Viscus wouldn't even pull your hand close enough to the rad to mark it. nzniggles I've said enough I'm only trying to help but some people want to stick to tried and tested. P.S For all you Viscus Fan fans I have 2 for sale. My original which I removed thinking it must be knackered (cos car was getting too hot and needed the auxiary fan hot wiring to help) and the Brand new OEM one I replaced it. Only to discover that it was just the same. Before anyone suggests it might have been a rad problem I suggest they read my specs.

Viscose Fan removal?
I can tell you from experience that I intalled my Pacet halfway through the hotest part of the previous summer and like I said the electric fan way way better and pushes much more air that the Viscus I removed. Search the web for pacet fans and you'll find the independant tests as I did before I installed. Even though Dave Perry of dpmotorsport (who has a global reputation for producing fast Porsches and possibly the fastest ever Pulsar on the plannet and has been a top tuner for years) told me to go that way, I still did my research and I advise everyone to do the same. Not just listen to what people here tell you. You'll find that the new generation 12 and 16 blade fans literally blow everything else away.
