Right before anyone says Heater matrix I assure you its new and not that as car doesn't use water.

I have brand new OEM door seals, complete new OEM Targa seals and Targa Door seals.

It only happen when car is stood not when car is moving.

Where do the Targa Drains go? could one be damaged and leaking into foot well.

Have you got your aircon on? Make sure the drain pipe is located correctly. The T top drain pipes run down the A pillar. Remove the T top and pour water down the hole, you should see it come out form the sill.

Don't have aircon anymore and carn't see it come out from bellow the sill. So looks like a uncomfortable few hours upsided down in the pasenger footwell next decent day :headvswal :smash:

Puddle in Passenger Footwell

Oh I`d love to have seen this in the Items For Sale section . Or , even better : Was It You ?

:p

The other targa drain runs in the trim before the 3/4 glass. easy to check all drains with a bottle of water.

If your targa drains are blocked with your bodykit where they exit down near the sill then they might be overflowing and leaking in somewhere.

check your passangers arent having a fly piss in the front seat

double check the door seals, the most likely culprit if it is happening when the vehicle is stationary. sit in the car and get someone to spray a hose over that side of the car, see if you can see anything coming in. you may even have to remove or pull back the carpet to check properly, water is a coont and is often hard to trace the source of the leak

I've gone through allthese options and have replaced every rubber seal on the car. it has to be the targa drains and proberbly side skirts blocking them. Which will mean new sills as well :headvswal :headvswal

But have you checked with the carpets out, It could be possible for the sills to fill up but I think its unlikely to come into the car the water would usually drain down between the sill panels. To come in from the sills the water would really have to build up over a period of time, therefore becoming stagnant and im sure youd have noticed the smell before now.

Although the water is lying at the front footwell that dosent mean its coming in through the door or bulkhead it could be from the boot or rear side window.

one car i had filled up the footwell, eventually traced the fault to a tail lamp seal, the water was running down the back panel along the floor of the boot under the back seat and onto the floor.

Like everything else with faults on motors be prepared for the worst but check the easy options first because more likely than not its something simple.

ripping the sills of then finding that the leaks coming through some lose grommit on the bulkhead or something else easily fixed would leave you mega :hurl:

If the leak is really that bad then get the carpets out and watch where the waters coming from you may have to remove door trim rear panels etc

Cheers for that you really know how to cheer a bloke up don't you.

The other thing is when your driving the car can you hear water slooshing about, there would need to be a fair amount of water lying in the gap to then get into the car so you would probably hear it.

if you do find its the sills then be prepared for mega welding work cause they gotta be ****ed

Lol thought it would cheer you up, saying that I didnt think it was the sills

That would save them and those luvly side skirts
