  1. :headvswal
  2. Laquer over matt black looks more like glass.
  3. If they go for blowers I think they'll go Superchargers rather than tubs.+ The pressent 350 has worked much better with supperchargers than Turbos. Lets hope the new car which if you look at the 2nd picture has a lower roof line, is better looking than the present. As the 350 looks like a cross between an Audi TT, a Citron Diane and a garden shed.
  4. That then is now addopted highway.
  5. When i first bought my car I did the usual thing and would keep going and having a look at it. You know the that baby is mine syndrome I think we all get when we buy a new toy. Anyway I would look down on her from my office window and think if those bars were black it would flow as though the whole roof was Glass. I was then taling to Luke "Zcentre" about it one day and he sent me some pictures of a car in the states. Next week I did mine. That was 2000 and these days every time I see a Zed with the body coloured bars I think it looks odd. I'll be doing it to my Red SWB as one of it's first mods.
  6. Yep PCV valves.
  7. The fact that you have no Third party insurance is going to go against you. I had a transit van in a similar circumstance from my Band days. (About 20 years ago) I was find £600 and 6 points at the majistrates court. I appealed and deffended myself at Crown court. I argued that the vehical was off the road and made as safe as possible to the general public. I also explained that I was of work after a motorcycle accident and i therefore Had had neither funds or physical ability to carry out repares. That I had tried many friends and other avenues to try and get the vehical into a safe yard, but had failed. Therefore I had ensured that the vehicle was as safe as I could make it until I was fit to deal with it. I also said "Knowing that it is an offence to have no insurance or MOT on a Council addopted area or public highway, I can accept having my knucles wrapped, but in light of my circumstances I felt the fine and the points were excesive". I was hoping for maybe 3 points and a £150 fine. Instead they quashed the points and gave me a £25 fine and told me to get the vehical remove ASAP. To which I could inform them that I'd had it repared and sold it. You won't get off but you can limit the damage if your honest. Though I should imagine that the Magistrates court will hammer you and you'll need to appeal
  8. :o Is it just my mind, Anyway why art you at work.
  9. I'd love the Audi RS8, but will proberbly get a Noble next Though I'll keep one of my Zeds
  10. Extreme??? Surely they have a compound number? Never heard of them. The mintex 1155 compound are very good for the Zed and would be my second choice to Ferodo DS2500's had the normal road compound mintex on my Volvo and they were very good but 4 laps at the Nurburge ring hauling its big fat ass up from 140 mph+ for the twiddley bits found them wanting. Well wanting a lot more pad as they were down to the metal and the disc's where destroyed. :D :D
  11. Just wondered Who has fitted them? Where did they but them? How much? Most of all what kind of performance difference did they Feel they've made?
  12. Nice AB-flug front bumper and AB-flug Wheels. The Aerokraft rear spoiler is hidious I'd bin that and the side skirts, but if you decide the front bumper has to go then I may be interested. Oh yes and 99 spec rear lights are a must for a black Zed
  13. I'll been up and down with work and money several times, but the best of I've ever been was when i first left college and was working for an Addvertising agency. I earned a reasonable living, but had a fantastic Quality of life. Then when my first child was born to just before my 3rd child came along. I was a free lance Illustrator. It was after black Monday. Money wasn't good, work wasn't regular enough but we were very happy and did the simple things. 11years ago I started my own company and I have earned some silly money, but I have less to spend now than I ever have. I think my kids expect everything too easy and my wife doles out too much to them. She expects too much. I work on average about 100 hours a week and I'm pissed of with the lot. I'm seriously thinking of selling up an moving to France. Like many here have said. If you earn it your family live it. a proper work life balance has to be found if you want to be happy
  14. Nar I think its nicer than the concept.
  15. Thats the problem. Being such a dingbat you even think your sane :slap:
  16. I think that looks nice. Very close to the original Supra Concept Car.
  17. Even in my Volvo the Supperbikes just got in the way all the time. There are 336 cornes and the bikes are like mobile shacanes. The get by on the bigger straits if they are near but after 3 or 4 corners they are so far behind they'll never catch you up. Unless you drive like a granny. I'm Sure that a standard Zed posted 8.29 on its press release in 1989.
  18. I got one for sale http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=95704
  19. Its not me. It's you everytime I have an ideal and think about it You blurt it out. Must be the way the Arty farty mind works. All my brothers and Sister are either BA, MA or just Artisticly Biast, but so were both my parents. Are your family Arty or just you
  20. Was looking at a red interior of a Alfa 156 yesterday and wondering if the seats wouls fit into a Zed. I love all the vertical perferated leather pannels that make contact with your arse and back.
  21. Yep me too Leigh. + I like the half moon pieces Stiched on the bolster. Si have you seen these in the fleash, because if I'm not mistaken these are the same seat covers that Eggy (getGreddy) got for his car and i thought they looked a little plasticy in the fleash. Though they do look nice in the picture.
  22. Apparently I should have packed his fingers in ice, but when your just trimming business cards with a manual Guillotine (well he was I was just packing them in boxes) I didn't expect to be having to pack finger so I forgot the ice that day. Silly me How remiss.
  23. Some F**king mate you'd be. I picked my mate finger up and put them in a placky bag and the both work now. Though he has no feeling in his finger tips. Proberbly getting ready for bed. Or if it was a very hot night and in a city then just trying to stay cool. Before the kids got older I used to amble around the place as nature intended. Even last weekend I sat around drinking beers with a friend of mine and his wife + the kids and my good lady around in just my shorts. It was godam hot.
  24. Yep but we arn't all on the same medication Leigh. + I make a point of not using psychotopics other than special occations.
