I have two red Zed's and and my previous SWB was red also, but I also have a blue Zed :tongue: I do love Blue Zeds,but really like Silver too. THe first SWB I had was the standard scarlet red which I really don't like, but it was a very sound car. Next SWB I got was a 92 Cranberry red Pearl and I must admit that it's a stunning colour when clean and not bent and the third SWB I got is a 90 Cherryred pearl which isn't as nice and I intend it to eventually become a nice African Violet but Summer. 1992 Standard Jspec Cranberry Red Pearl is nice Standard flat Red is crap Early Cherryred Pearl is OK. Next big meet I'll bring my marbles with me.

The only reason the have higher crime detection figures is due to the massive persecution of motorist who stray 4mph over the speed limit. I also agree as will most of the Police I know that too many of the wrong sort of people are attracted to the force, but I still maintain that most of them are sound. The thing peole don't think about is the kind of people that police offiers are constantly in contact with and this does tend to effect the way they put themselves forward and react to people. Also most of us that have had a seriously negative experience with the police has tended to happen on a Friday or Saturday night when the worst type of Police Officer is let loose upon us. "THE SPECIAL CONSTABLE" (Coppers on the Cheap) This really does attract the worst people who can't wait to get their uniform on and get in the roudy chomping at the bit just waiting for it to kick off. Howeverthe quesion was what do we think of the governments behaviour over the Police Pay deal. I think it stinks. The Jock cops have theirs. + if it is part of their conract of employment then it should be honoured for the English bobbies. The main object of the Police and the british legal system unfortunately is to protect property and not individuals. If anyone goes about their job facing death to protect us every day then it has to be the Armed forces, but everyone of our services should be treated like heros IMO. Nobody really pays much time to praise our firemen, Nurses, Doctors and espesially our armed forces. They should all be paid on a far more even scale. They should all be more accountable to the voter Via local government and not the vassle of Party Politics and Yes Nick our coppers should have had their pay back dated in exactly the same way that our Scotts brothers have had theirs.

I had a parcel weighing 40KG earlier in the year and that didnit even cost £45 to be collected door to door. I use UPS because they don't loose stuff.

Toffee pennys and the coconut ones are my favourites. IT's alwas the strawberry and orange creams that nobody ever eats.

No bayside blue is too pale and not enough pigment. It looks OK on a Nissan Skyloon but even then only OK. I personally think that the blur that Birds car is and Bayside are much of a muchness. Much prefer the original Dark Blue with the purple metal flake that some early Jspec zeds where painted. Looked bland when old, but freshend up with new laquer it really looks the dogs.

A lot of people with 500 FWHP have dump valves because the standard recirc valves will not cope with the boost presures required and when I fitted my dump valves it was because the only aftermarket recircs I could get that would handle the required umph cost about £600 and the Apexi dump valves cost about £240. So having spent thousands of pounds I shouldn't have dump valves set on Quietest setting was a good compromise. The reason for dump valves though is to discharge back presure on gear shifts thus aiding spool up times. It may give you a few tenths of a second per lap in full race setup, but you won't see any real difference even with hard road driving. Most people just like the Choomph.

Hi Joe and welcome. Their all a bit :wack: on here. Infact some of them are total basket cases. Thats why I feel so at home. If we budge up a bit i'm sure there's room for another. :rofl: Dump Valves and Autos don't really work. They'll only dump if you lift off the gas after a boot full of rev's. So you maybe a bit disapointed with the results. You'd be much wiser getting a good set Bridgestone S02 tyres first, then bigger brakes, then get the car chipped and a boost controler so it fly's. I'd go for a fancy silver because blue only looks ace when it is clean and shiny. Silver can carry the dirt mich better. Dark cars are loverly when clean, but we live in Blighty and 10 yards on the road in the rain and they look scruffy.

I had the first FMIC's on your list but never fitted it. I have Greddy SMIC which actually have larger cores than this FMIC. Also this Chinese FMIC weighs about 9 ton and it is very rough casting and ropey inside the end tanks. It is a copy (I use the word copy very losely) of the HKS FMIC, but having seen both in the flesh this one bears little similarity apart from apearance. The core's also look quite dubuious on close inspection which is why i chose not to use it even though I was told these were good, but I wouldn't think they are any better than stock. Infact having been assured of there quality I gave them the thumbs up on here. However when i got the thing in the fleash and since my mate Dave own's dpmotorsport and having seen loads of different IC's over the years I think this is Just more a blingy thingy. Those side mounts look well made though, but only marginally larger than the standard SMIC's. These would be the best value side mounts at the moment http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_22&products_id=71&osCsid=4445202d945af565f8d80349e829f485 IMO If you have a 2+2 with side mounts you need to relocate the wassher bottle and remove the charcoal canister to improve the airflow. Also make sure you retain your IC ducting and if you can duct the rear of the cooler to your brakes or out the side off the bumper.

I always get them to send via UPS Express Sevice. the 120K kit which also includes the Oil Pump cost £19.00 shipping and the the 60k kit was about £17.00 shipping if memory serves me right. Both also containe ancillary belts and because I have full unotherdox Pulleys on my TT they suppied the correct belt for that and standard belts for my original Red SWB. There was about £11.00 duty on one and £7.00 on the other. I can check the exact amounts for you if you like but ir maybe between Christmas and New year before I get back to you with them. As I haven't done any shopping yet and got to get my ass intogear. P.S. On a foot note I have to say that the prices Danny is offering are very good and he is only getting surpast with US imports due to the fact that the Dollar is so week. This will not last for ever and if we don't support our traders at all then when the dollar recovers against the pound we'll all be complaining that there no one on the forum to supply us with cheep bits. I know all about this as the Polish invation has hammered my business, because firms just get Polish contractors in cheeper.

I've had 1 60K kit and 1 120K kit. Much cheeper than I could get them from here. 60k kit from Z1 and the 120K kit from http://www.courtesyparts.com

Their is another alternative if your main priority is just to keep it looking bling and not needing to be properly polished onece every Three months. That would be to have a polished plenum etched primed and then getting it Chrome painted. This retains fare less heat than electro plating, but still means plenum off if you damage it.
