!Poll! Colours: RED vs BLACK zed ONLY (with age adjustments) !Poll!
I seriously don't like red Zeds. Which might sound stupid as I have got 2 red SWB's and had a Red SWB before these two. I bought everyone because it was a good buy at the time and I fully intended to change the colour of them. I'm not keen on black Zeds either, because they only look nice for the first 10 minutes after you've polished them. Always loved blue cars and going to paint one of my shorties African Violet Pearl. I'm a over 35 so how does that fit with you hypotesis :wack:

gear lever problems
How did you get the bolt through the eye's and bottom of the shifter shaft? Are you a key hole surgen by any chance? I think you could maybe do it with one of Likes cut down jobs, but the Nismo and the 2 Fast 2cool shifters have a new rose joint fulcrum which i'm sure would impeed working just from above. Fair Play to you though Stu

you can't anodized Ally + there would be no point. I had one of these but the ACT clutch that was fitted wrecked it. Mainly due to it being a knackered second hand one that was fitted tough charged for a new one by an ex Trader see my rides.

"SHORT SHIFTER" - recommendations
The 2fast 2cool are exactly the same as the nismo short shifter. I have fitted the Nismo to my Blue car and a 2fast 2cool to one of my SWB's and I would find it hard to tell them apart. Polished Dropfordge Veridium Chrome Steel

Male brains are different to female
Here you can see the results of years of scientific experiment and observation. These studies carried out at Cambridge over a 9 year period have made it possible for scientist to map the female and male brain activerties and which area of the brain controls which specific function.

gear lever problems
If you can get the car on a rap it make life much easier. I would get a short shifter from someone like 2fast2cool on fleebay. These are real good quality and come with nylon bushes. I've fitted a Nismo to my Blue car and a 2fast 2cool to my first red SWB, but I had the use of a ramp both times. I wouldn't fancy laying under the car on axle stands though. I have biggish hands with fat sausage fingers and it didn't seem too bad a job.

UK distributor for Ab-flug parts
Two things 1) if your changing your bumper can i have first refusal 2) I Modified a Veilside bumper for my Blue Zed and was inspired by the AB-Flug bumper you have. I could have got that bumper at the time but there was a waiting time of 12 weeks so i got the veilside instead as that was only a waiting time of 3 week. You see i had to get it so i could finish my car. The AB-Flug at the time 3.5 years ago was £540 with side lights + £35, shipping and taxes and the Veilside was £570 complete with framed mesh pannels, shipping and taxes. The value of the pound has made a large difference over the last 4 years and the at pressent the Genuine Veilside is available at £290 Brand spanking new. Ah Yes Chris a GetGReddy got it for me and a AB-Flug rear bumper lip.

Can you replace turbos in situ?
The reason they did it that way was so as not to move the ECU harness at all. Therefore avoid the usual cracking up and ending up fitting a new.

Can you replace turbos in situ?
MiddleHurst Used to remove the Gearbox to change them as it makes it easier, but still awefull.

Transmission stuck in Park
Sounds like the Button is either stuck or the spring in the switch has become dislocated. I've had this with Other Auto's. Try getting some WD40 into the release switch mechanism. The fact that you have disconected your battery concerns me though. you didn't shory anything accidently did you? You could have tripped the neutral celenoid switch. this will stop you sellecting gears as a safety feature. It happened once to me on a Honda Legacy. Unfortunately for you , if it is the selenoid switch it is in the drivers footwell behind the fues box and means removeing the lot to get to it. I'd try the WD first, then try disconecting the Auto ECU for half an hour before moving on to the neutral switch.
