I've never experience a sieze turbo and the only big vacume leak i've experience was Via a sticking dump valve. So it held presure up to 2500 rpm and then just let go. It felt like a 40 hp car, but you could hear the leak quite loudly. Dunk300zx is the man to ask about siezed turbos. I've got his sieze one in my garage, nasty.

Give over. A knackered NA maybe. A Good NA is very sprightly and only 45 HP down on a TT and because it has a high compression engine instead of the turbos low compression TT engine and lower gearing 0 to 60 is a bit quicker and still zings up to 130+

I have a set of these and I was going to blank off the lamba boss on the O/S mainfold and install it in the top of the Decat pipe thus freeing up more space to clear the column. I introduce Leon to this forum and know his gear is good. He's made system for my TRD and a complete system for my Blues car, but I really couldn't justify £400 for the NA headers when there isn't much wrong with these ones. Yes there's a bit of messing around but worth it I think. Will tell you when there on.

I think that the colour of the car dictates and Black white and silver Zeds just look the mutts with 99 spec lights. all Zeds look dated with the standard lights, but 99 spec still look dated and American 70's look on Red or blue cars. What have I got Red and Blue Zeds. I put red lensed LED After burners on my blue car and I don't know what I'll do with my red car or what I'll do with my other SWB when its Sprayed Metal flake Violet.

Sorry to say it but you really have not read this thread properly and everything that you have just said is already stated there in the thread. Also it is a long time since Blue prints have been used. however you will also find that the term Blue Print has over the years through useage accrued a legal definition as the "Master Copy" and it is more in these terms that tuners talk. I am old enough to remember using Blue prints as a technical illustrator to translate into technical illustrations in the pre CAD and MAC days. Actually it would appear that plenty of people on this thread know the difference between a tolerance and a dimension, and many more people other than engineers do. Class opening gambit of an argument or vailed threat of shut it or else Where has anyone on this thread done so? Hey I paid GPS £12K then spent £500 myself trying to sort bits and get it right + borrowed my mate Dave from dpmotorsport and fooked one of his ramps. C & S Wood ended up costing me under £3K to redue every thing they did. It all depends on wether the car will be sorted and reliable and if you think it will be worth it.

More detail and step by step + he incerts some extra foam to get a real tight fit and the fininsh job is spot on. The car is silver and the new interior is pale grey.

I know where your coming from mrogers. I drove mine to Grass Hopper and 11 months later had it removed. Spent 3 months trying to get it sorted and then delivered it to Phill at C&S Wood. Three weeks later i had a full engine rebuild and all the snagging through out the car totally sorted. My list was much longer and far more severe. A good garage makes a world of difference and having a car you know is sorted properly give you confidence and faith to start enjoying the car in the way you did at first.

It is the correct PDC I take it? 114.3 f it is it will be OK and will fill the wheel arch more than the standard 35. The fronts on my Blue car are 8.5J x 18 with a 25 offset which pushes it out even further and that fits fine. so I don't see any problem. It will come out towards the wheel arch 8mm more than the standard wheel.

I thought the original ones that Nismo Did used the main monocock with space frame front end, no rear floor and mainly ally pannels. ie the bottom one and the Stillen verson was revised using a full space frame ie the Top one. I only think that because i've seen those Stillen GTS's smashed up at a race on youtube. Also I saw some footage of the Nismo GTS's with front and rear off on some vidio that someone on the Zed club took out in Japan and the main momocock just looked like it was from a proper Z32. Must have been back about 2000/2

you obviously did not read this thread very well then. Because it has been said what blue printing actually is and I've said what a lot of people call blue printing and that you can get get an engine re-engineered to be more efficiant and closer to the Manufactures optimum tollerances. Which they do release in order that engine repairs can be carry out. I agree with regard to turbo charge cars showing less advantages, but not all 300zx are Turbo charged. Your open statement isn't correct either because Honda release blueprints of their engines to the English tunning firm Mugan who do most of Hondas R&D work. You can also buy a Mugan Blueprint version of many Honda lumps.

Yep but for the big boy in racing every micron of extra power reliability etc is woth all of that. Also there are good enough engineers who'll still build your engine to finer tollerances than the factory engine at affordable prices.

You can machine items to within microns of the optimum tolerance. Yes the mere fact we call it tollerance means exactly that there is an acceptable microscopic varience that will not greatly effect the engines operation.

How much do you want a Zed for summer?? (imp with barbed tail and pitch fork sits on sholder and wispers, "you really want one don't you") you could consolidate all into one with a a few grand extra at a lower rate.
