Which are the best spark plugs??
Depends on the car setup. If your running higher than standard boost a cooler plug is a good idea. Also it depends on how often you want to change your plugs. Irridium pluggs will last at least 60K perfoming to their optimum. Platingum cores about 40K optimum operating and copper cores much less. I Would go for NGK platinum or Get HKS Irridium off Ebay. HKS plugs are NGK anyway and the HKS S40i's that are on Ebay are slightly cooler than standard.

Really Upset :-(
The front wheel is on the wrong side as well.Inside each wheel it will say RH or LH as wheels are designed to rotate in one direction to keep brakes cool. If your car is a UK car then because the rear wheels are wider it mean that there is a RH front and RH Back and the same with LH. you appear to have a LH Front on your RH which would acount for the tyre rotation being wrong.

Brake Disks
Should always fit new pads with new discs to get the best braking and best wear.

Best Petrol
Funny that I was under the impression your cars gave you a lot of trouble. You also realise that using V-Power or 99 Ron will increase the miles you get per gallon and therefore it is actually slightly cheeper per mile than 95 octane.

It is a lovery car Theo and like Ive already said the best wide arch like on the market IMO. Look like a good paint job and modest engine tweeks. Just the front bumper and rear spoiler no my cup of tea. What is the engine specs list

Opinions please on oil in rad
Yes the problem is though that when you wash it out it often starts to leak afterwards. Well mine did and so did Eggy's

They are real nice wheels Mario. The wheel refurbisher you spoke to. Can they do split rims and do they polish the rims or dimond cut them?

Sounds like a Subaru
Great I hope thats thats the fix and fingers crossed for you. If it occures again though It could easily be that it is the insulation on the coil pack or injector connector leads cracking. This is the hazzard of moving them as they become very brittle. Once they start cracking up they will short out in damp or wet conditions until they melt enough insultion to short perminantly. Only solution is to get the new leads and connector kits from Z1 or MJP and cut olf out and solder new in. Or pray that we have no more damp weather.

Opinions please on oil in rad
As Lymon says. The standard Auto rad has an intergrated Heat exchanger in the N/S Flow chamber. The engine oil cooler is at the front of the aircon fan in the nose section. Check to see if the feeds to the heat exchanger are still attached as I have seen an auto Zed with the return from the heat exchanger going to the old engine oil cooler and a new cooler installed for engine oil. If it is connected to the heat exchanger it maybe worth will buying a small oil cooler and bypassing the exchanger. Then flush out the rad and see if that cures it. Hope you understand my ramblings. Good luck and fingers crossed that it is ATF as the above will cure it much cheeper than Head gasket job.

ET30 on the rear?
It will depend on the tyre and wheel size. I have ET30 on my blue car and on little red. The Blue car has 10J's and I did hve to have the arches rolled. Little Red has 9.5J and they are fine

Really Upset :-(
A good body shop will pull that dint out and the bumper is poly propelene and will pop back into shap with alittle heat from a heat gun. Then its jst a a blow over the wing and bumper. would have thought £300 ish. not worth claiming for it or you'll pay more in increased premium next year than the cost of the repair.

at last, its gone in
If I was you I wouldn't go any further until you get your wheels. I'm assuming that its a copy Strosek Kit as it has 2 vents each side and even if it isn't you really should aline it to the wheels that are going on the car. That way the wheel arch follows the wheel line and setting the width of the wings to match. They do look like their doing a good job there and moving at a good pace. Most body shops tend to drag body kits out. Be nice to see the finished artical, but like Si said, get those silly vents filled in. If you don't, and you wanted to. They'll nag you every time you look at it.

removing front wing
Just Taken a pair of wings of this weekend and it is really very easy and straight forward. Straightening the twisted metal under the N/S wing may prove harder, but I know a man who can with a lazor Jig. So little red will ride again and Spare parts (my £1500 ebay SWB bought to be a doner and ended up being a little corker) wont have to be condemed for its organs.

wheels and tyres again, advice needed please.
I think that 275's may require having to have the wheel arches rolled to prevent rubbing if it is a standard 30 offset. Also I had those Verdistines on my RICA T5 R fire engine and they were really good. Best tyre i've ever had on the Volvo T5's but couldn't get hold of them easily. As Pete has said there are lots of different tyre compounds and getting the right one makes a world of difference. I swear by Bridgestones S02's for the Z and if I can't get then then I'll go for Mitchelin Pilot Sport or Cintinental Rain Sport. Problem is that like you said most firms only make tyres up to 265 on 17's but that is wide enough if you have a good tyre unless your running 600 RWHP.

newbie....silly questions im sure..
For what you appeared to be after i think you have. The 300zx is pretty hardcore really. It's a totally imotive thing to do buying a 300 and only looneys like the people in this club can find justifiable arguments as to it's merits. Don't get me wrong I'm not slagging them off. They are in general the nicest looneys I've ever met and I must be a complete loon because I have 3 300's and they really get under your skin. The S2000 is a loverly car and i hope you'll have loads of fun with it and feel free to drop in and have a chat and let us know how its going. You wont get the same banter on the S2000 club bore. The humour on here is the kind soldiers have and earned through pleasure and suffering. P.S What colour did you get and where are the pic's?

Full leather interiors custom or standard re trim your views?
As above + are you talking top quality leather seat covers or a drop off and collection type service. You have to bear in mind that I have been speaking to a really good Trimmer who has Quoted me £1700 for a full custom retrim. Including replacing all seat bolsters and resculpturing them to create seat shapes I want. Thats with Alcantara seat facings, leather backs and sides, leather arm fests, leather cubby box lid and covering my dash in Alcantars. Thats for a SWB. He said roughly the same for my 2+2 without the dash and top half of door cars being covered. Thats leaving the car with him and it all fitted.
