  1. I'm dyslexic and calling my Brain Brian is one of my regular cock ups. Teh is an other instead of "the" and if i'm writing quickly I miss letters from one word and mix it with a few from the next and create my own language. + I mis lette o word or just jmulbe tehm pu or evn joitehmup.
  2. Tw@t   It is 40 front and 35 rear then.
  3. Can Some one help as my brian is playing trick on me again and I can't remember tyr sizes. Blue car is in storage and my othe 18's are in for refurb. Are these profiles correct? So i can order some new tyre to go to Mr refurber Is it 235/40/18 Fronts and 235/35/18 Rear Or is it 265/35/18 Fronts and 265/30/18 Rear Not Got car or info to hand :headvswal
  4. At £45 their a give away. I think I'll have a set.
  5. Right and that give correct speedo readings or do you have to have them calibrated?
  6. Nar just do a single turbo convertion and top mount it with a cut out in the bonnet. Remove the targas and get a seat riser.
  7. So you removed the UK clocks and circit board and installed into the Jspec series 1 housing? Everything then worked fine and the powe steering was OK? Just asking as I'm going to fit UK clocks to my SWB NA.
  8. OOOOOO they look nice. Do you mind me asking what you paid for them.
  9. Nissan Uprated the 3rd and 4th gear cluster and syncromesh to the Nismo (proberbly OS Giken) fron 96 onwards so any new Nissan replacement clusters and syncro's are uprated, but still same ratios. Not cheap though. Almost cheaper to buy a new box.
  10. Cheeky Monkey who knows "if't Crisp dust taste better than't crisp, monkey" :smw:

I wouldn't be interested. I recon it will be a real pain in the arse for making quick gear shifts. I've driven the Ferrari 360 Modena and the 355 with the real deal and they work beautifully because of the balance of the box and the fact that it has a lower gate and central fulcrum so the shift always returns to the central position of the H and the lower gate makes it impossible to shift diagonally. The Z box is like stiring porridge by comparison. Yep you'll get used to it and perform well day to day, but when you want to make real rapid progress I recon your going to keep finding a box of neutrals. I maybe wrong but I can live with it.
  12. As above. I really need to get hold of him A.S.A.P.
  13. The engine EFI/ECU loom is on the drivers seat and in the pics of the first links i posted. Most of the spaggetti hanging out all over the place was HiFi and alarm crap.
  14. Your going to need the rear toe arms Dave or you ware the inside of youe rear tyres of. I've been there and done that, It makes an awesome difference to the cornering stability theough. I was running -4 degrees negertive camber and -2.5 negertive camber up front. Still have -1.5degrees front and -3degrees rears so as to clear arches on my Blue car. Fronts a 8.5J +25 off set and it fills the arches nicely. The rears are 10J with +35 off set. The rear arches have been rolled and and they just clear.
  15. There is now  Actually there was originally on my car so maybe it had been moved with previous work that John (Previous owner who bought at from a dealer at 6 months old) had had done, but i have no record of it. The injector loom runs under the plenum and the wire and plug for number 6 coil pack.
  16. If you have big fat sausage fingers like me and don't want to spend all weekend upside down and have never been into the bowels of the dash before I suggest taking it out as you can see every thing and will not break anything. It's ok for these fellas (bloody Prima Donna's) that do it al the time and now know what goes where and how it is retained. I spent hours wasted with dash in. Dash out and it easy to see stuff and get to it. It is true you don't have to remove the plenum, but it is a much tidier job if you do and for the sake of 40 minutes I think its worth it.
  17. The RH drive looms at Z1 are going to come in at about £220 delivered to the door including Tax and duty.
  18. These have RH drive looms http://www.z1motorsports.com/imagemagic.php?img=images/efi5.jpg&w=599&h=435&page=popup http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?products_id=2915&osCsid=2f98595257444c08df917a14bbd0f330 A total doddle once the dash is out and the plenumis off. Seriously it's not technicaly taxing, just time consuming. You need to give yourself a weekend to complete it and you'll need a new plenum gasket.
  19. Looking Good Mr and they have really turned that round quick. Well impressed.
  20. No more than £4k to make the changes first time and then the UK spec parts will be fitted in Japan like they are for a X-Trail or like the Jspec bits fitted to the Micra's before they are shipped to Japan. Would end up not costing only a couple of hundred pounds different. Then the TV/Satnav rubbish is inly going to cost a grand max difference. The rest is just Tax and rip off UK. Just the same with Porsche or anything. I know a lad who bought his Brand New UK spec 997 Turbo S from Holland. He ordered it as UK spec paid for it and imported it into the UK and Save £23K after paying duty. It is all down to rip off Britain and wanting big margins.
  21. I know but, they'll also charge me £300 for the privilege.
  22. Cheeky git. I don't know a bloody Brummy and a Jock taking the piss out of my accent. You could hurt my feeling Liegh.   Anyway you can't have any seats with big gaps or cracks in or you might slip in and get stuck or even lost.
  23. What do they weigh? do they feel robust, ie no play in them etc? Are they a a steel frame with the material ansd wadding stretch between or do they have any back and seat plates?
