I've got all SPL stuff on my blue car, but I've got the Powertrix stuff for my SWB NA and it is really good quality stuff, but about half again weight wise to the SPL stuff. Though I recon it will last longer. A friend of mine has bought some off Eabay which look like they'll do the job, but being made in china its a question of do you trust em. Got the Powertrix bits off Danny at DTA.

Fatties!!!
I still think there is a relationship between the fact that most animals that are farmed including the majority of Cod and Salmon we eat is fed on a diet infused with Growth hormones (so it gets big enough to be butchered much quicker and therefor cheaper) and antibiotics (to make sure it doesn't get ill and die therefore 99% garenteed to make proffit) It isn't just coincidence that all these fat bast**ds have only started to appear in large numbers since the UK adopted US meat production procceses. That the US didn't have all these fat *******s before they started using these proceses and that Europe still doesn't feed their animals growth hormones and just go and have a look. They arn't over run with individuals taking up the entire footpath with their 5 foot wide arses and 4 meter waists.

95 million, euro millions
You can just pay off their mortgage and they don't pay tax as they haven't recieved the money. You could be giving them a loan on a as and when repayment basis. You could set them up as a registered charity and give them a large income from your interest. This would reduce the amount of tax you would pay on your interest and they would only have to pay 5% onany proffits made.

You put ajustable tie bars on with these? Just that if you don't the standard tiebars tend to split and then come in two.

Just how reliable are Z's
It is all down to the way the car has been cared for. Regular oil changes and proper servicing and you can see 120,000 miles on original turbos though the average age for turbos to ware out is about 70 to 80,000 miles. Just a fact of life due to the nature of what they are. Then you have to replace 2 tubos which is going to cost anything from £1500 to £3000 depending on what you replace them with. Just something to bear in mind with any turbo car, but hey it's a fact of life that if something is really good fun it costs. The other killer of these cars is poor tuning upgrades. ie poor mapping either too rich or too leen Causing bore wash or piston failure. Bleed valves to up the boost leading to DET or too lean etc. Again it's to do with the nature of high powered sports cars that people want to tune em and think they can do it on the cheep. The Basic TT is a very reliable car and a properley tuned TT will still be very reliable.

newbie....silly questions im sure..
Yep all true and Legrath has covered any holes I missed there. You do realise that most TT's are Targa tops and give you open top driving that feels the same (almost) as driving a full drop head. However if it is a full roadsteer your after your £9K would get you a VERT ZX, a TT engine with full rebuild and new ECU loom. Thus a Very reliable car thats that bit different and very spicey. If you don't want that quirkiness then the S2000 is a lovery car. + £1500 will buy you a Mugen Supercharger kit for it. So £2000 to £2500 will give you a real scarey monster. :D

Fook Me, Thats A Turbo
I bet that is a wee bit laggy. Yet another pointless Drag strip wonder so he can brag that it has a longer HP figure than his phone number.

Jwt 530bb Or Z1 Gt600r
Yep not as torquey at below 4000 rpm, but that maybe just needing remapping.

Jwt 530bb Or Z1 Gt600r
Never Dyno'd a car to be honest. It just don't really interest me. So long as it feels fun and Porsches are easy meat I'm happy. There was a definate increase in mid to topend grunt though and that surge didn't start to fade until about 7000rpm instead of 6500 as it was previously. Idealy though the car really does need rolling road mapping to get the best out of it and then turn the wick back a notch or 2 to keep it reliable.

The Basic TT is a very reliable car and a properley tuned TT will still be very reliable. The NA doesn't have the turbos so you can forget the turbo ware and the bleed valve syndrome. So tend to be more reliable because it is less likely to have been messed around with by bafoons. A chipped NA with induction, decat, set of headers and because of its lower gearing with trownce most things on the highways. It is a quick car, but a good TT with a good boost controler, induction and chipped will make you grin like a fool. So it all about getting a good one or play it safe and go NA.

lowering springs
If your interested I have a almost brand new set of Tokico Gas shocks. When I say almost I mean just that. 1 has never even been out of its box and 2 were on the car for 2.5 days. I was fitting them with a Ground Control coilover kit. So I had dropped the old springs out only to discover that the coilovers were for Koni Shocks which have a narrower flange on the spring bed so wouldn't fit properly. So I had to get home and the rear shocks I'd taken off were totally goosed so put them on and replaced them 3 days later. I payed almost £200 with the VAT So Would let em go for £150 posted to your door.

Your very favourite photo of a Z
I'm sure that that car is one of the Original Nismo GTS and that the one below is the Steve Hillen (Stillen) The ones in my Zed club Mag from when they went to the Nissan Race track by the Nismo factory are the same as above with the big outswept skirt and the different detail on the front bumper. I think Steve Hillen drove one for Nissan, but the Stillen Cars are US made and quite different. Also there was a video that one of the guys posted with some good footage of the Original Japanese Nissan GTS that were there.

300zx N/A Vs. Supra N/A?
I assure you his dash isn't it is the nicest Supra interior i have ever seen. It's all hand stiched and sculpured leather door cards and dash. Real nice. Thats why I said he's cheeting when he made his post. We'll have to meet up and I'll bring the blue car and you can have a tugg and a raze and see what you think. That one has always been solid and nicely put together so too is the SWB I bent but my previous one and the one I use everyday must pulled apart and thrown back together by monkies.
