As Hellraiser says, up your boost. The difference between stock (9.5psi) and the safe max on stock internals (say, 14.5psi) is pretty darn noticeable!!!!

surely you can go with a smaller one, perhaps located near the front of the engine bay somewhere or in the same position as the stock one...

well after a couple of phone calls I have managed to drive my renewal down by almost £200 (across two cars) so in the end I'm only paying about £30 more than last year. better than a brick in the balls I suppose.

Snap! A good mate of mine used to live in Oakham and moved to Melton, so I take the A47 -> Tilton route. They're both awesome drives whether you branch off right toward Oakham via Halstead/Braunstone or continue straight on along the B6047. So many Sunday drivers along there though :headvswal Ashby Folville meets are fantastic mate if you've not been to one before! I'm definitely going to try and make it this Tuesday if the weather holds up.
