does it have an electronic boost controller? maybe the Gain is set way too low, or maybe you do have a boost leak. how do you know it's spiking? what boost does it go up to when it does?

I think it was my bottom-end shells that went a few years ago and I remember that between 2,000 and 3,000 rpm it sounded like an old diesel revving.

nice guide - I just had photos to follow when I did mine - but once you've had a preview of what to do and get started then it's pretty straightforward from then on.

Kwik Fit - the McDonalds of tyre and exhaust places. :slap: As Janus says - the smaller ones always seem to be the best - there's a Kwik Fit and a Walkers opposite eachother about 2 mins drive from me and I use Walkers every time. on a more important note glad you and the fam are ok!!

I have a full 3" Labree/Sebring exhaust - here's a clip of it starting up on the driveway. I don't have any clips of it on full chat yet but it does sound rather tasty especially when coming off the throttle and then back on again at higher revs. You can hear the old girl ticking a little bit at startup but I'd just come back from a week's holiday. funnily enough the guys who did my trim actually kept the tweed on the door cards and stuck the cover over it - they said it helps to keep the shape of the card (i.e. avoid any lumps of glue etc.) and the card stays a little soft. I've been very happy with the results so far.
