Carbing strut bar...
I purchased new nuts from Nissan when I fitted the shocks so they are OEM spec ones and look the same as yours just a nice goldish colour.

Carbing strut bar...
My car is a 1990 and it is a carbing front bar, I will go take a picture if its any help, I still say either your bar is not seated correctly or the shock is not, thats what it looks like in the picture anyway.

Carbing strut bar...
Looking at the picture I would say they are standard top mounts.

Carbing strut bar...
Mine are on KYB/ Eibach spring and shocks with no problems so I think your problem lies elsewhere.

ignition modul.....
To change a PTU is a simple unplug remove and replace. Code 55 = no faults Code 43 = knock sensor Code 21 = PTU

Hi
I guess you mean PTU as in this picture, if so then the early series 1 type on the left is easily available second hand, if you want the more reliable series 2 on the right then hard to find second hand but availble new in the UK and USA easily.

Carbing strut bar...
My carbing front brace uses the standard nut and no issues, does not look like your brace sits down far enough or the bolts from the leg are not up far enough.

Oil Filter for NA
Cost cutting !!!! :smash: Nissan now supply one filter to fit a range of vehicles from the 300ZX to the Micra, I guess that saves them a lot of money, I have spent a fair bit of time looking into it and as Si has said, Wix would be my number one choice, I get them for about £5 including the sump washer, if that was not available I would go to Nissan.

There, he gave you the answer right at the end, it was a trick, and a trick is not magic or mathematics, its an illusion, be it cameras or lazers!

How would you go about repairing this
Did the bonnet flip up and dent the roof in? You need to remove all the filler, have the dent (I guess thats whats underneath) pulled and then repaired properly, that amount of filler will always pop out with the first bump you go over.

It is a bit of an oldie this thread, BUT, no normal sane person can think about Xmas in Oct, can they?

oil filter from halfords
Your better off glueing a brown paper bag in there than fitting a Halfrauds filter, even if they manage to get the right one it will probably be inferior quality.

back window removal
I know a couple of people on the forum that have done it but I have never tried, I prefer it.

back window removal
Will cost you more to have it removed and refit than it would to re tint another rear window I should think.

back window removal
Remove the tint then !

Oil Filter for NA
You can also buy Wix filters from a motor factors, they are the same as a UK spec, never been asked the chassis number myself.

Removing stickers & adhesive
For the adhesive on the dash I would use furniture polish, it breaks do glue to a gel and wipes off, no worries about bleaching the plastic with a harsh chemical.

Oil Change
The correct washer is a crush type and only used once, they are available from Nissan or any motor accessory shop. I personally opt for a good quality 10w50 oil, Morris oil to be precise and a Wix filter although if that was not available the a Nissan one. I have never really looked at that style bodykit but if it means you can no longer jack the car up it does not seem like a good design.

Oil Change
Get the car up to temp, park on level ground, remove oil filler cap, go underneath, remove drain plug, remove oil filter, leave a while for the old oil to drain out, refit oil filter and sump plug (use a new washer) then refil with oil. I will find a link for you that has pictures as well.
