Surely for what it would cost to have a car sprayed in either of those marble type finishes you could have a really good glass out respray in a nice colour and a professional interior retrim, plus should you ever want to sell the car its going to be really difficult to find a buyer and you would have to let the car go for less that the respray cost.

I dont think many aftermarket colours really suit a Zed, especially candy and flip paints, it makes a classy design look cheap. The Bayside blue is a good choice, going for something different and wanting it to stand out from the crowd may pay off and look nice if you put some serious thought and research into it but most of the time they end up looking ghastly.

You need to use the correct primer, a good bodyshop will know which one, just tell them its made from Urethane, not sure any DIY paint will be flexible enough.

Are you sure its not the battery flat from the alarm going off? the clicking sound from the footwell normally happens when the battery is dead.

I would have to agree, if your adding any subs in the boot you need to replace them with something more suitable.
