  2. I recently fitted an 068 battery from Partco and that was the right size and terminal layout.
  3. A crows foot is the best tool to use on them, once they have started to round off though you may as well get the molegrips on them.

  8. A motor factor in Ipswich stocks them, if you want one I have a couple in the garage and can send you one.
  9. I use a Wix oil filter and Morris comp oil 10W50, I think Wix filters have been discussed here before as they have the anti drain valve.

  12. We have a wood floor and if the dog goes for a walk in the middle of the night you can hear him but I would still prefer that to carpet, especially with a dog in the house.
  13. I would agree with this, when removing the remaining parts of the alarm you may no longer have the complete circuit.

Im going to have to pull out on this meet, the parts that were promised to be delivered last week for the MOT did not arrive so car is still off the road.
  15. No noticed much difference myself but from previous posts, iron ones are heavier and alloy ones can suffer from warping.

Sorry I will rephrase my comment, there have been no meets in this area that a decent size group have all been able to attend.

I am up for this, my Zed is (fingers crossed) back on the road by the end of the week if I can get some front calipers, would be nice for a meet up of a few faces in the area.
  25. Why have they fitted a towel rail to the rear bumper ?? it kind of detracts from the cars otherwise handsome and stylish updating !!
