  1. Someone else in Ipswich :hyper:, welcome.
  2. Andy is also selling his silver slicktop thats why he said it in the ad, now that is a nice car.
  3. My personal opinion is that the best way to spend money on the brakes of a Zed used on the street is the rebuild the standard calipers, decent pads and disks and new fluid. Lots of people think the standard brakes are rubbish, including myself until I did all this, now they are more than satisfactory, I considered going for bigger etc but decided this was only descessary for cars used on the track.
  4. Have a great day matey :duffer::duffer:
  5. Take off the targa and it goes between the seal and the body work, mine leaked on the corner near the drain tube mainly. It is also sold at boat yards / chandlers.
  6. Mine came with the necessary grease, the instructions said coat both sides of the bush generously before fitting so I guess your going to have to get them off to do it properly.
  7. Is it a standard ARB or aftermarket? I know I had to grease the silicone bushes on my Whiteline ones when I fitted them.
  8. Now that is a truely gargantuan bodge job, shame we can't email the highest bidder and warn him, poor sod is about to part with £1500 for a big box of useless nuts and bolts.
  9. mmmm, broken down once in 6 years due to a dead alternator, thats pretty good for a 19 year old car
  10. :slap: no one thats ever seen my NA would describe it as crap and having owned numerous twin turbos and NAs I know which one I prefer.:D
  11. In most cases the rubber surrounding it will break up, I have a picture somewhere of mine where it had broken up completely and you can feel the play by hand, also the Nismo rear gearbox mounting is actually designed for the 240SX and some say should not be used on the 300ZX as it makes the gearbox sit 2mm higher although I and many others have it fitted without issue. Picture of typical bearing found on the net.
  12. Your right it is propbably one or the other, or both, a Nismo rear mount is cheaper than the stock item and one piece prop is only about £50 more than just the bearing which is why most people go that route, it is easy to tell if the bearing has gone, rear mount harder to tell from just looking.
  13. Mine came from Z1 motorsport, they sell the Nismo mount as well, at the time the exchange rate meant it was a bargain. The props are sold on ebay as well. http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_11&products_id=1573&osCsid=02baa45e01593eeb1325654077043e23
  14. Most likely a flat battery, see if the lights go dim while cranking the engine or check the voltage at the battery, should see about 12 volts.
  15. Why do I get the feeling that engine will blow up 10 miles from Birmingham when the new owner goes to collect it?
  16. No, you dont have to declare claims for glass and my premium has stayed at the £200 mark for a year.
  17. I got my rear screen replaced on the insurance, its not just the windscreen they cover :x:
  18. Plenty of rain though !!! just got in from walking the dog and we are soaked, would prefer snow
  19. I am sure that car has or is owned by a member on here.
  20. Its Ferrari Titanium.
  21. Red is the only colour to have, but if I was to change it then I would go for this ....
