  1. Watching these cars go round in formation is so boring they have to make up a bit of scandal to keep fans awake, this is one sport that progress has ruined
  2. Thats it, I knew something like that happened  , I really should pay attention.
  3. I have not seen any nominating or voting in for moderators in a few years on this site. :)
  4. I would recommend a minimum of gloves, helmet and jacket. If you get serious about it then get the best quality kit you can afford in the whole outfit, at some point your life may depend on it. I have an Arai lid, Furygan 1 piece leathers, spidi gloves, Alpinestars boots and Forcefield back protector. Cant help with all the tests you do now, it was a lot easier 20 odd years ago.
  5. Low mileage, origional paintwork but a TT front bumper !
  6. A man is born in 1972 and dies in 1952 at the age of 25, how? and In the middle of the ocean is a yacht. Several corpses are floating in the water nearby, what happened?
  7. A. Couple of fish called romeo and juliet whose bowl was broken B. His horse is called Saturday C. She is too short to reach the 41st button (should have taken an umbrella to reach the higher buttons)
  8. Did you have any luck finding somewhere suitable on your travels then Phil? Looks like I am moving to Norwich by the end of the year so the area will gain a blue Zed and loose a red one.
  9. Mine has been telling me it needs a new battery for the last 4 months, it still works ok and is just a cunning plan by sky and duracell to get you to spend more on batteries.
  10. Match the colour on the panels to the origional colour chip from the paint supplier and see if there is a noticable difference, if there is then you may get somewhere but all the big paint suppliers tell you to paint a test panel first, they even supply small metal test panels just for this purpose.
  11. Try MJS in Ipswich, they can supply and fit a recon box or if you can get a second hand one from AndyZ they will fit that for you.
  12. Tenure commonly refers to life tenure in a job, and specifically to a senior academic's contractual right not to be fired without cause.
  13. This cost me £230, I had new WP springs and thicker fork oil, the compression valves were machined to improve flow and then it was all set up by Darren Wnukoski who does a lot of BSB work and had Stuart Eastons bike there while working on mine. They also do basic set up or whatever you want and match the settings to your weight, riding style and use. I have toyed with suspension many times over the years using different guides but until you understand it like this guy you dont realise just what can be achieved, I use to love riding, now I cant wait to get out and attack those bends, he will also give me any settings for tracks in this country or readjust free of charge for them, bring on those track days !!
  14. I know theres a few of us bikers on here and thought I would share todays findings with you all. I had the suspension on my GSXR750 professionally set up this morning and I can not believe the difference it made, within seconds of pulling away I knew it was going to make a real difference and I have had a smile on my face getting bigger with every bend I go round, so forget about spending 200 notes on a race can and get this done instead, its awesome
  15. If you have had the ECU out have you made sure the long blue connector is seated properly as it can be difficult and could cause the problems you described.
  16. Possibly try contacting AndyZ, he has a mechanic with good knowledge of the Zed and may be able to help. Where I would recommend would really depend on what you need to have done, oil changes etc I would do myself, anything more difficult find a local competent mechanic and for the big jobs specialist only.
  17. Got to be said, theres not many here with better advice   and I have a conzult
  18. Me again, just want to earn another £50 consultancy fee .... You fill up from the dipstick hole, pretty fiddly to do. If that doesnt fix it another possible cause is the PCV valves, so you can add that to your list of possiblities.
  19. I will post it out Monday and you get it Tuesday, consulting is only £50 per message.
  20. I have seen one with the battery relocated to the boot and the washer bottle where the battery should be and the SWB has them in the boot so maybe try there.
  21. Washer bottle on a LWB is front of engine, plastic cap near the inner wing.
  22. Dunston Hall on the A140 just outside Norwich, I will pm my phone number to you in a second.
  23. Rear of the engine on the drivers side, usually has a yellow top and looks similar to the engine dipstick.
  24. Engine up to temp, leave running and in Neutral then check on the dipstick, hard to read but it should be between the hot markings on the dipstick.
