  1. Got to say it does not sound promising from that, why not give Ryan a ring and have a chat about it, hes the man that sorted mine out when it went and its like driving a new car now hes sorted it, nice positive gear changes.
  2. Nice one bud, as for the switch, if its an import they sometimes fit a parking aerial which may have been removed but you still have the switch for it.
  3. When my autobox went there was a knocking noise with a metallic grating at the same time whenever I pulled away or came to a stop. Sounded like it came from the passenger footwell. After about a week it became more and more reluctant to go into overdrive and the oil went a brown colour and smelt burnt so I knew then for definate what the problem was, you sure its not suspension noise as the car goes into drive and you get the slight lurch forward?
  4. Have a good holiday bud, I think we took this thread right off topic so better stop now and appologise
  5. 996 ..... was actually going to buy a SWB manual zed but the wife moaned about that so bought another bike ....
  6. sold the GSXR getting a Ducati next week :)
  7. nope never been out to any pubs along that road
  8. Hope the car is sorted for then I would love to see that colour properly.
  9. I dont know any of the pubs up that way so will let you all choose that one.
  10. Good for me , thanks.
  11. Unfortunately I am working that day, just had a look and the only weekends I am not working are .. 4 5 March 11 12 March 19 March 15 April 22 23 April I would love to be able to come along but am limited on dates due to work so would understand if its not able to be change to accomodate me.
  12. It does, once they are fitted they should pull out fine.
  13. When you get that trim out it must be self explanitary because I did it without any headscratching just bolted it straight in. If any of you guys take your kids out in your imported Zed this is a must do mod, those lap belts are a waste of time.
  14. This is all from memory so may not be 100%, the top mounting you will see when you remove that piece of trim, make some measurements and drill through the trim in hopefully the right place. Measure and cut the piece of trim you see in the second picture, again hopefully in the right place, the mounting for that again was already there, i bolted it in, offered up the trim then cut it and found a piece of trim in the workshop to finish it off. The last 2 mountings are where the lap belt already is and a straight swap. HTH Richard.
  15. I have posted pics before of the car as I did it which shows it all stripped out and the mounting points but they are not on my pc anymore, a search might bring them up.
  16. Any good? its fairly easy once you get the trim / seats out and self explanitary.
  17. Passed first time   :D :D
  18. Get a fuel line kit from Smithy, shouldnt be able to smell fuel at all ideally.
  19. I think the person who would normally send that out has stood down from the job but a new person will be appointed asap and he will hopefully sort you out, there are a few people waiting I believe.
  20. I would say one of the pubs along the A140 somewhere near Diss as thats central.
  21.  thank you
