Outlander Motorsport
Is he still a trader on here???? if so are there any rules protecting the members that buy from him, I know theres plenty of rules about what traders can and cant sell but what about if the trader doesnt replace faulty items after being given plenty and I mean plenty of chances to sort the problem. Alternatively anyone want to buy a completely useless HID kit for their car, it makes a very nice £200 ornament for the shelf in your garage, just dont ask it to light the road as it is faulty. :headvswal

Auto causes stalling on heavy braking???
Are you sure the oil level is correct in the box and you are checking correctly, a couple of people lately have had the same problems and turned out to be low on oil and not realising that you have to check it with the engine running.

Quick jobs that really make a difference
Its probably just the one colour origionally but over the years of use the colour has varied a little and the paint manufacturers have compensated for this with different shades, usually No1 shade = the origional colour, B = bluer shade, G = greener shade etc etc.

Soundproofing
Loft insulation should work ok but make sure there is no water getting in there or it will soak into the insulation, stay damp and rot the car away.

kmh mph chiming
You may need to swap the dials over in the housing if you have a Series 2 car with Series 1 UK clocks, pretty straight forward job and you may find once fitted the chime goes off whenever you stop, just disable it as in the previous post. Richard.
