  1. They are suppose to be in the motor trade so you would think they could have a better guess than that one
  2. http://www.zcentre.co.uk/interior/trim_seals.htm
  3. Yup slimmer than mine then, wish I went to Chris for them, they might actually work then. :headvswal
  4. Or try PHNW, no longer a trader on here  but he use to keep them on the shelf, he is still a trader on the Zclub site if you need his contact details.
  5. Your ballast packs must be slimmer than mine, that was my first choice of placement but didnt quite fit.
  6. My Stillen front bumper was really easy to take off, about 15 minutes work, might be because there is loads of space to get your arm in and remove bolts etc.?
  7. I removed mine when I had the bumper off last year and was a doddle, just a few 10mm bolts holding it all in. Didnt remove the headlights to do it and while the bumper was off I found the ideal place for the ballast on my HIDs (shame they dont work). Could be a nightmare of a job without removing the bumper.
  8. Start by cleaning all the connectors you can find, they could all probably do with a clean even if its not the problem. A lot of the connectors get broken as well due to the heat, they go brittle and this can make them work loose at revs and cause an intermitten problem, best solution there is to solder in new connectors, happy hunting bud.
  9. check here http://www.300zxclub.com/showthread.php?t=38101
  10. If there is a TVR dealer near you why not go round there and look at some of the colours on the cars, it will give you a much better idea of how it will look than a colour chip. Or find some websites with similar cars on and look. I only picked TVR as to me they have some of the nicest colours. But picking something origional is the way to go. :)
  11. It is the cat overheat warning light, probably fuel being dumped into the exhaust casuing it to overheat and also black smoke, causes could be it not firing on one cylinder due to bad electrical connection etc.
  12. It is an NA and hopefully in 2 months I will be able to show some figures, still getting it all setup but being let down by suppliers to finish the job off properly.
  13. No I had new sunvisors made and covered in black alcantara for me by a local company. They will make them up for tv screens boost controllers anything you want.
  14. Could be a niche in the market ready for someone to snap up.
  15. Have something custom made for your sun visor like mine, keeps them out of sight for a cleaner look and so the thieving scum cant see when parked up.
  16. I bought a kit from Gliptone, has some leather dye the same colour as the leather (just tell them its for a 300zx they know the shade you need) some cleaner and conditioner. www.liquidleather.com
  17. I went for the works, rebuilt calipers from Bigg Red, braided hoses, porterfield pads, BMC brace and Brembo discs then replaced the brake fluid all at the same time and the brakes are perfect. Personally I would do and I am sure the traders here will be able to help you but if not I can get the same company that did mine to make you a set, think it was about sixty quid.
  18. Are you going to put braided brake lines on while you are doing all this work on the brakes?
  19. Its all that heavy braking that you do while on the track mate. :)
  20. I have used them many times, as said excellent service and the only time there was a mistake (which wasnt their fault) they sorted it out for me, shame UK companies cant learn from their customer service.
  21. Hi Jack, dont know if your aware but your old red Zed is for sale at a garage in Ipswich.
  22. Shame he cant sort out any problems from his old business venture before going onto a new one then and I know for a fact that he was still trading as Outlander when I first reported my problem as I rang him about it and he answered the phone as Outlander Motorsport, oh well I may as well stop wasting my time chasing him then.
